What a beautiful hotel, building and interior this is. The rooms look opulent and the entire hotel breathes luxury. Right in the historic centre or Xi’An. Executive lounge offerings were great. Staff is one of the very strong points of this hotel. Suite was a bit on the small side but looked great. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Arrival welcome by the Asst Chief Concierge- Wilson was warm and Personal. My room was ready by then and I was promptly checked in by Ms Hattie. She so friendly and approachable. Room was beautiful and well thought out. Bath amenities were luxurious. Breakfast team were equally wonderful. Special thanks to Ms Yara, Anna and specially to Chef He, who remembered my preferences for breakfast offerings. I was fortunate to have met Mr Farsave- Chief Butler, Mr Danny - Front Office Manager. They sprung into action when I feedback an issue I fixed in the room, giving me an upgrade as service recovery. Every time I leave the hotel for sightseeing, I will be warmly greeting by Ms Eva, Mr Alan, Mr Deni and Mr Frank. They even decorated my room for my birthday. This hotel and all its staffs takes personalised services seriously. If there is a hotel to stay in Xi'an, Sofitel Legend is the place to stay.

Legacy building with quiet and calming enviroment, very welcoming and accomodative staff. The luxe suite is perfect with everything. Although a bit lack of personnel, the breakfast is very nice with a lot of choices and quality and fill-up are not affected. Local treats are very interesting to the first-time visitor. Overall, I would leave a 95 out of 100

Hardware not new but staffs are very friendly

The hotel is the 2nd Sofitel Legend hotel I've ever visit. Firstly, the staffs are nice and the hotel policy has provide free breakfast and executive lounge access (and upgraded to basic suite)to platinum member of Accor（compare with ritz-calton, regits of marriott）. which impressed me a lot because the breakfast are better than fine dining of many luxury hotels. Secondly , the front office staff Mr. Liu is very nice and firendly, he take me and my frined a 'Legend Tour', told us many interesting stories of this hotel. An attractive hotel would make their staffs love the hotel before they serve customers, I think this hotel is successful in building their culture. Merely hotels have that much historical sties like Xi'an Sofitel Legend hotel. Thirdly, hardware not very well, I think most marriott or hilton opend in 5 years would have a better quality of hardware. Anyway, the service is really nice.

the Sofitel Legend Peoples Hotel in Xian may be the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Simply beautiful, luxurious, great service and a wonderful breakfast. Only regret was spending so much time exploring Xian that we did not spend time relaxing by the pool. If you are planning a trip to Xian you should definitely stay here. Great location as well.
