We are truly sorry to read that your experience did not reflect the standards of hospitality and comfort that we aim to provide to all our guests. The cleanliness of our rooms is one of our top priorities, and we sincerely regret the issue you encountered with the bed linen. This is far from the quality we want to guarantee, and we have already shared your remarks with our housekeeping department to ensure that stronger checks are carried out before a room is released. Equally, we are very concerned by your impression of our reception team. Courtesy and attentiveness should always characterize our service, and we apologize if you felt treated with indifference. Dear Mimi, Thank you for sharing your impressions of your recent stay at Mercure Palermo Centro. We are truly sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations and that several aspects of your stay left you disappointed. Cleanliness and comfort are fundamental priorities for us, and it is concerning to learn that the room condition, bathroom maintenance, and bed comfort were not up to standard. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. We have already shared your comments with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so that they can immediately review and address these issues, as well as reinforce our quality controls. We also regret that our breakfast selection did not satisfy you. Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at Hotel Mercure Palermo Centro. We greatly value your input as a loyal Platinum Accor member, and we sincerely apologize for the aspects of your experience that did not meet your expectations or our usual standards. We regret to hear about the security concerns you encountered in the adjacent building, particularly with the sliding door’s delayed closure and the lack of additional security measures for the lift and stairs. This is not the level of safety and comfort we strive to provide, and we apologize for any unease this caused. We also regret that the issue raised at reception regarding the door’s timing was not promptly addressed. Please rest assured that we are reviewing these matters with our team to ensure immediate improvements are made to enhance security protocols. Additionally, we are deeply sorry for the disappointing interaction at reception on July 27th regarding your request for drinks after the bar’s closure. We understand how important it is to provide exceptional service, especially for our valued Platinum guests, and we regret that the response you received was not courteous or accommodating. We sincerely apologize for the aspects of your experience that did not meet your expectations or our usual standards. We are pleased to hear that you found our staff at reception, the bar, and the restaurant friendly and that you enjoyed the breakfast. However, we deeply regret the discomfort caused by the high noise levels in the restaurant/breakfast area due to inadequate soundproofing. We also apologize for the unpleasant experience of passing through an area with cooking odors on your way to the room, as well as the outdated condition of the room itself, including the wardrobe, painting, and safe. Your comments about the air conditioning, balcony, and the state of the bathroom amenities, particularly the socket and toilet brush, are concerning, and we will address these issues immediately with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure they are rectified. We understand how disappointing it is when a stay does not reflect the quality expected from a Mercure hotel, and we are sorry that your experience fell short. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will use it to improve our facilities and services, including addressing the soundproofing, odor issues, and room conditions you mentioned.
