We stayed here, my husband , daughter and I on our way down to south-west France. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was served in the small restaurant and there was plenty of choice - the trays and breads were refreshed regularly. We did have an issue with our card key but it was resolved quickly - the cleaning staff tried to help us initially and were quick to escalate when they couldn’t get into the room. The hotel isn’t far from the old town where there are restaurants and bars. We will definitely stay here again!

Not impressed with this hotel. The location was nowhere near the center of the town. It was a very steep walk up from the riverside hotel. The hotel was the worse Ibis hotel we have stayed in, over many years as a Silver member. The room was very small and the food in the restaurant was of a poor standard. The staff did their best but could have done with at least another 2 members on the team. We will not be staying there again.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget for an overnight stay in the summer and was very pleased with my experience. The room was large and spacious, albeit no-frills and fairly standard and basic but this was to be expected. It is a budget hotel after all and the room was clean and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was also good, nice selection of choice, cereal, bread, drinks etc. Nothing too fancy but it was good and served its purpose. There was also free parking if you found a spot outside on the street, which I did. Where the place really excelled though was in its customer service. The guy at reception was very helpful and even changed our rooms closer to one another with no extra charge. Also excellent was the location. This was the pièce de résistance ;-) The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the city centre where you have a whole choice of restaurants, bars and arts centre. Was even lucky enough to arrive during the La Nuit des Chimeres festival which was just magical. A truly amazing light show that projects illuminations onto buildings and the city architecture. See the photos, though they do not do it justice at all. What an experience and very happy to have stayed here.

Hotel was a disgrace, cistern cracked, cigarette burns around sink, dirty marks on floor, room very stale & lots of flies, was told I would receive a refund however still fighting to get this back even though I have an invoice stating I would receive a refund, stamped & signed by staff member in charge.

The word Budget in the title lives up to its name. We were lead to believe there was car parking at this hotel, THERE IS NO PARKING, "you can park on the street for free" says the guy on the desk.....it was full, so was the next road and the one after that, there are short stay meters. After feeding the meter a couple of times, I managed to find a space in the road. There is one lift a few steps down from the road level. The rooms are very small, nothing like the official photos, or a very clever fish eye lenses was used. If I had a cat, I would not been able to swing it. The one pillow proved was thinner than a fashion model and not worth having. The single beds were very narrow. There were no English channels on the TV. There is no kettle and no tea or coffee in the room On the positive side, this hotel had adjustable Air conditioning and the buffet breakfast was adequate.
