Novotel Париж 13 Порт-д'Итали 4 звезды

This Novotel was considerably cheaper than some of the others in the neghbourhood and I have loyalty with Accor so stayed there to try something new. This was my first time in Porte D'Italie. PROS: - The price point for the hotel was reasonable, all things considered. - I was on a floor that looked to be newly refreshed, so my room felt clean and modern, in a quiet part of the hotel as I requested. - Paris is currently experiencing some challenges with bed bugs but I saw no signs here and the room looked to be clean and the bathroom seemed new and modern. - The hotel is an easy 7 minute walk from the metro, although bring an umbrella if it's raining. CONS: - What others have said here about the staff is pretty right on. The service levels were not as good as I am used to from Accor hotels. I was offered no recognition of my loyalty status, check in was painfully slow and I was left waiting for 20 mins to be served at the bar. - The hotel rooms are basic in terms of amenities. I was missing a bin in my room, there's no desk (but there is a table) and there's little else by way of extras in the room. - There didn't seem to be a room service offering, and the hotel itself seems to be a decent enough walk from a supermarket. - The communal areas of the hotel felt tired and dated. Overall whilst my stay was comfortable and the room was adequate, it was nothing special in terms of stay and I really do think Accor can invest more in staff training and welcome, particularly for those guests who are part of their loyalty programme.

The room shown below in my photos for 3 people. Queen bed is firm, very comfortable and the single sofa bed is medium to soft. Overall the experience was okay/good. I have requested lotion, slippers and cotton pads which were not available as I was advised that you get what has already been given in the rooms - so bring your own stuff and not expect Novotel d Italie to provide these. Overall, the quality of the hotel decor, room size, customer service meets minimum requirement of a 3 star hotel. I wouldn’t say they go above and beyond this. I spend very little time at the hotel as only there for sleeping, so my experience was great!

Absolutely lovely hotel situated not too far from the Metro and a good high street. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and it was lovely staying in the room. The breakfast was impressive and our stay was excellent.

The rooms here are great with a shower and a bath. They are very big for Europe and have good lighting. The air conditioning was good just had to set it really low so that the room would be cool enough. The concept of the toilet being away from the sink is just stupid but very prevalent in France. The hotel is a short easy walk from the metro and the neighborhood is very safe with a lot of restaurants and shops close by. The only problem with the hotel are the staff who are not helpful and very friendly.

Очень хорошее впечатление от отеля. Станция метро в 5-7 мин от отеля, прямая ветка до opera. До аэропорта Орли минут 20 на такси, до Диснейленда - 30. Хорошие по французским меркам завтраки - блинчики, вафли, выпечка, нарезки сыра и ветчины, яйца, сосиски, бекон, гранола. Помимо обычного есть соевое молоко . Пищу так подробно про выбор на завтраке, потому что нам надо было, чтобы все могли что-то поесть. Я на кето, а дети мало что едят. Номер просторный. Мы брали на 2 взрослых и 2 детей. Помимо двуспальной кровати был еще раскладной диван и всем четверым было удобно. У нас номер был рядом с лифтом, но не было слышно ни звуков лифта, ни кого-то ожидающего в коридоре, так что проблем со звукоизоляцией нет.
