Again, this is a fantastic hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. Have stayed here several times now, and will choose this every time, I go to and around Reading. Everything works here very and the breakfast is very good too. It is close to the station and all public transport even directly to Heathrow airport.

As always, Ibis is a safe choice. Stayed in room 1114 for 2 nights. Clean room and bathroom with everything I needed (except for hair conditioner amd a safe). Excellent breakfast and friendly service all over the hotel.

Not a great nights sleep due to street noise and room above banging around in the early hours for an hour so rude so told reception checking out.Wouldn’t stay here again though hotel was clean and welcoming helpful staff but the air con unit wouldn’t work cooler less then 15 degrees and warm air blowing out and windows very drafty.

The location is very good, two or three minutes walk from Reading Station. The hotel was clean and welcoming. I was a little concerned about having a room on the 9th floor as recently hotels I have stayed at have been plagued with lift problems, but I needn't have worried, lifts in good working order all weekend at the Ibis. My comfortable room was a reasonable size for a budget hotel and was very clean, as was the en suite; good hot shower by the way. I had seen reviews that were critical of the mattresses but mine was comfortable and I slept well. I was very impressed that breakfast starts at 6.30am (many hotels don't start until 8am on weekends) so I was able to have a good relaxed breakfast before catching an early train on Sunday morning. Lovely cheerful breakfast staff. It may be 'no frills' but this hotel is very good value for a low price and I will certainly stay again when in Reading.

Location - 3 minutes walk from main train station. Excellent for lone travellers. Check in - fuss free, stored my bag until check in times. Helpful staff. Room - comfortable and well appointed. Bathroom - disabled set-up. Shower curtain badly in need of attention, was extremely difficult to draw around, jammed on every hook. I’m able bodied and struggled. Have stayed in the more expensive Novotel next door and thought the Ibis was equally as good.
