Don't recommend staying here, so many better hotels nearby for half the price and presumably better service. Staff are the rudest I've ever experienced, borderline hostile towards guests. Some examples of the bad service: - We have not received any response from various emails both before and after our stay - Generally, minor requests were treated as major inconveniences - We were served breakfast by someone wearing airpods. Staff always scrolling on phones and very inattentive - One staff member literally rolled his eyes when I asked for more coffee one morning It's also very costly. Food was extremely overpriced and nothing special. Buffet or tapas were the only dinner options, strange for a 5 star "resort". You can't use the indoor pool and spa without paying an additional entry cost per day (30 quid). The airport collection is twice the price of a taxi. It was a shame because the rooms and setting were great, clean and the hotel has a really nice pool area. Our experience was tarnished by the above.

Staffs in the Sofitel, hotel, five star all are very good and very welcoming, all of them specially: Rabab , Muhamed , Muhamed ,mariam , Fatima Hussain,sabah, rashid,khadeja, Abida. They were very helpful multi language speaking. And, always respectful, made us very welcome. It’s a place we will definitely come back. Alan dilshad

This is not a 5 star hotel. Its very expensive to buy anything there.No real restaurants there.Rooms ok.Would not stay there again. Staff not helpful. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Worst experience ever

This hotel does not like Americans. I reserved the best suite they had and they put me in a room with no ac. After calling 4 times and waiting 8 hours to have it fixed they kept telling me to have patience that it would work. Finally I had to get upset and make them move my room. To which they downgraded me and would not help me. The next day I wasted the entire morning and afternoon trying to fix the situation only to get nowhere and be standing in the lobby with all my luggage for most of the afternoon. Definitely do not come to this hotel.

Terrible Restaurant Food. Lovely hotel.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful gardens and attentive staff. A lot of building work going on to update the hotel. We had one of the worst meals of our holiday in the hotel bar restaurant. Tempura prawns with their guts still in (nobody wants to eat prawn poo) and no potatoes (specified on the menu). When we asked the waiter who appeared to be in charge he tried to lie and say the dish didn’t come with potatoes. He then disappeared behind the bar and left it to a junior member of staff to deal with. Shine, the young waiter, was delightful. He was friendly and efficient every day of our holiday and appeared truly embarrassed by our prawn fiasco. He was left to deal with our complaints while the more senior members of staff hid behind the scenes.
