Staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Price was good, but there was a reason for that! We should have heard warning bells when there was little accommodation available but the Ibis Budget still had vacancies. The shower was grimy, with lower wall tiles discoloured. The toilet seat surface was blistered and rough as a result. So much so that this would not prevented it being properly cleaned and this was apparent by the colour. One bedside table was missing and the older style air conditioner was extremely loud nd barely cooled the room even on maximum setting. Top sheet was torn. We paid for the continental breakfast but I ate none of it for hygiene reasons and did get a refund for one of the 2 breakfast for which I paid. Bread for toast was put out in its plastic bag so everyone had to reach into the bag and could not help but handle what would be other peoples' slices. Margarine was in a communal jar used by everybody and full of other peoples' toast crumbs. Jam was similarly provided. Cereals (cornflakes, nutra grain, cocoa pops and rolled oats were stored in tall, narrow jars necessitating people to put their hands into the jars to reach the serving scoops. There was no means of cooking the rolled oats. The orange juice was not chilled and once tasted was discovered to be off/fermented as it "fizzed" on the tongue. Did not try the apple juice. Dirty dishes were just left sitting on counters and the sink. Just disgusting and unhygienic. Stay away!

As a budget hotel I didn’t expect much…I just needed accommodation for one night. As soon as I arrived, I started looking online for alternative accommodation for the night. It’s really bad… a real dump. Don’t stay there. I booked through the Accor website and I expected a particular standard. I was totally wrong. They have really let this place go. I wondered how I got it so very wrong…I obviously didn’t read the reviews on the Accor site. OMG… read the reviews, pay extra and stay somewhere clean.

i picked it because it was cheap, but jesus, this place was a dive. it looked abandoned, bags of laundry just lying in the corridors, bins overflowing with rubbish. i thought maybe they had cleaners there still working but woke up the next day and it was all still there. the whole place was dirty, the aircon unit in the room sounded like a freight train and impossible to get a good sleep. stay away from this place. All Accor should dump them from their portfolio as its an embarrassment to associate your name with this location.

Never thought I'd be reviewing an Ibis Budget room! All the motels were booked on our stopover in Dubbo, so for $103 I reluctantly checked into the Ibis Budget. There's not much to say, it's obviously basic, but the bed was comfy enough. Towels were huge and soft. It lacks alot, like bedside tables, PowerPoint's, spare blankets etc but that's to be expected. The reason I reviewed was because I wanted to mention the service. The man at the front desk was extremely busy but so polite and professional. I asked him for a few different things and he responded so politely. Another plus is the vending machines ( several) and laundry with washer and dryer. Rooms are small but there's a common area with microwave etc and tables and chairs to sit and eat. It's actually not a bad option for a night or two on a budget. That welcoming service from the front desk really elevated our stay after a stressful drive.

We had some issues with cleanliness of the room such as marks on towels and linen. The room is very very small and there's only a chair for a bedside table. Limited room to store your luggage. Shower was decent and stayed warm but the bathroom was small and would be hard for anyone of a larger build to be comfortable. Bed was comfortable enough. Noise travels from the hallway and doors make a very loud noise when slamming behind guests. No elevator. Paid for breakfast is a bit disappointing for what you pay. Staff were very friendly
