Clean hotel, but placed far from alternatives of restaurants or other kind of commerce. This is serious because the restaurante is poor in options, specially when the restaurante is closed and you have very few oprions of snack. The breakfast is really lack of options

Reserved to use the room by two people, there was only one coffee cup instead of two, the TV remote control was not available, I called front desk who promised to sent it to the room but that never happened. The safety lock of the door did not work at all.

It is very frustrating to arrive at your door and not be able to open the door because the card don't work. i stay there from Sunday to Saturday and every day i need to return to the front desk to reset the cards to open the door/

Very well located if you go to the Feria Internacional del Libro Guadalajara in december, but also not far form the city icons, such as the Minerva, Chapultepec, Americas Ave., downtown and many many restaurants with tipical food.

I had a nice staying at the hotel, some problems with the reservation but beside that, everything was all right. The position is very good, close to the beautiful Plaza del Sol and close to buses that takes everywhere. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Nice and having all the needs after a long flight, incredible food. quick check in, location in front of the conference centre and couple of shopping plazas 5 minutes walking. breakfast from 6 and dinner up to 23 make this a great choice either for early birds or late arrivals

The service in this hotel was not of the required standard for a chain like Ibis. In the restaurant, the waitress was moody and we were overcharged. The room was very noisy due to the air-con. Good location and very clean, but could be a lot better!

We will make a big effort in training the teams in order to provide quality at service and to communicate correctly our promotions. It happens that we have a special promotion in case you pay in advance your breakfast at the check-in moment at Front Desk. It is a reward for the guests for helping us to make this service more fluid. At the Restaurant, the price keeps at $89.00. Like wise, please be sure we will work with the maintenance staff the air conditioning issue. I hope this experience doesn't affect your next choice to be at Guadalajara, to visit ibis Guadalajara Expo again. Best Regards,

Ibis GDL is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless. This is not a luxury hotel but it is a great value and in very good condition. The breakfast was good and priced right. Dinner was not very good and the service was less than friendly.. Ibis is located directly across the street from Expo GDL and a short walk from Plaza Del Sol Shopping Center.

Dirty and broken towels, small unclean rooms, poor breakfast, TV channels on Spanish only, Room Key was setting with 1 day expiration so we had to come back every day down to reception desk to re-set, no Room Service and what they call Room Service is frozen food made by Front Desk associate in microwave-taste terrible....

I will share with my team about the configuration of keys in order to elminate this failure. Unfortunatetly, the lack of room service, is part of ibis internationally, the reason is that we are business hotels and most of our clients require more practicity at their stays and rarely use this kind of service. The service was terrible, there where food traids on the floor for about 2 days, the room service didin't do our bed in one ocation. In understand the hotel doesn't have room service but it's not nice to not have all the basics like towels, toilet paper etc...

Dear Guest: We are sorprised to receive your comments about your stay at the Ibis Guadalajara Expo. Your opinion is very important for us in order to improve our services. We are very sorry about your experience. The ibis brand is internationally recognized 3 star hotels for its quality services coupled with excellent cost/benefit relation and its always strategic location, allowing competitive rates. In ibis there is the more direct participation of the guests during their stay, generating a more relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with some differences. The room service was replaced by a convenience store that operates 24 hours a day, offering snacks and refreshments. The luggage is taken directly by customers to the apartments via carts available at reception. To ask extra bed clothes, towels or pillows, just go to the reception and get them with one of our attendants. And to make it easier to stay for business, ibis network offers wifi connection for free in every room, in the lobby and floors, Thank you for your attention and we are at your disposal in your next visit to our city.

Front Desk Nightmares!

Stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. Arrived at almost 1am and they could not find reservation - even after giving them the number which I found on my blackberry. Even then, they could not find it. Eventually found it but told me the rate was different and billed me accordingly. Subsequently billed me twice if not 3 times. I have reported to Amex. Almost as bad getting out and they billed me again! The staff was rude upon check in and defensive. They do not seem to have any sense of who the client is and how to treat guests. I lost over an hour of my time between checkin and checkout. I will not stay here again.
