Cusco is the centre of the Inka civilisation, the Novotel is in the old town, within easy walking distance of the main square, a very comfortable, charming hotel with excellent staff. It’s a really good base for your visit to Cusco and as a stepping off point for Machu Pichu and the Sacred Valley, thoroughly recommended.

We had been hiking for 5 days and were so looking forward to A beautiful room and some luxury which this hotel says it is!! The lobby and restaurant are beautiful but the minute you get into the lifts and corridors for the rooms they are z2 or 3 star! We were horrified we were only staying one night but I had booked my daughter & boyfriend in for 2 nights! The staff were rude and unhelpful! Think twice about staying here!

The enchanting courtyard was made even more special by the careful attention of Roxana and Mauricio. They anticipated our needs and were attentive, polite and careful. The hotel is spotless and within easy access to the main sights of Cusco.

Fabulously located in the heart of Cusco, just a couple of minutes walk from the Plaza de la Armas and the Cathedral. The hotel is based on a traditional colonial-style property with a huge enclosed central courtyard that is used as a communal area and bar. An excellent choice if you are visiting Cusco.

We stayed for two nights with friends and overall a good experience with a very nice dinner in the atrium one evening. On the downside, we had no hot water one morning, and the staff did not seem unduly concerned. Also, the wifi was very slow - to the point on the first night that the tv did not work.
