Very nice hotel. Beautifully located close to a metro station where you can easily get into the city. Friendly reception. Spacious room with nice bathroom and view of the football stadium. A notable asset is the swimming pool and bar on top of the roof. Breakfast: nothing to complain about. Price quality ok. Parking under hotel.

Excellent hotel! While not near the city center, it is right next to the soccer stadium. The room was spacious with black-out curtains. They had in-room instant coffee. The rooftop pool and bar were awesome. This was a great place to stay! Just a short cab ride to the city center.

This hotel is right next door to the Sevilla FC football stadium. If you want an unpleasant experience then this is the place for you. Nothing wrong with football crowds, as long as you know what you are signing up for. Firstly, on match days of which there are many, you will not be able to get to or from the hotel by car, metro or bus. We waited for 4 metro trains before we gave up - all full to bursting and no room to squeeze on. After we walked back the whole area around the hotel was really intimidating and unpleasant. You get back to the hotel, a quiet oasis - forget it, the bar and public areas were rammed to the rafters with football fans. The hotel had no concern about the comfort of their guests - only about maximising revenue from footballers crowding out the hotel to swamp the bar. To make it worse there was a lot of building works around the hotel. We went out one morning and when I came home early one afternoon (I had to leave my family because I had been as sick as a dog throwing up and soiling myself because of food poisoning - and the only food and drink I had consumed from lunchtime the day before until that point had been from the hotel) there was a sign in the hotel lift saying the water in the hotel taps was unfit for human consumption owing to contamination from a break in the water mains). I wish I had known that as I had been drinking water from the tap during the night and took a bottle filled from the tap out with me in the morning - my wife and daughter had been drinking the two small bottles of water left in the room. When I complained to the hotel, it was nothing to do with the hotel, of course. The manager had been drinking the water and was fine and the water had been tested and was fine. I'm a Chemical Engineer and know about water testing - it is not an instant dip a test strip process. You have to carry out lab tests for Biochemical Oxygen Demand and grow cultures of samples, which the hotel would not have had time to do. I asked them for a copy of their test results - they didn't have any to share. We stayed there quite a few nights - I put it to them that they should refund for one night to compensate for when I was ill. Nothing doing - they offered a payment of €50 which I refused, explaining that I would derive more value from this review. I wrote them a letter, with my full contact details, indicating that we were in a trade dispute, denying them my permission to charge room extras against my card and asking them to issue a letter of claim against me. Despite not having my authority they still charged extras to my card, which roughly equated to one night's stay. I could have contacted my bank and flagged it as a disputed tranasaction but for the level of effort I would rather file this review. The nature of Tripadvisor is that the hotel gets to respond and tell you how wonderful they are and how wrong I was. By the way, the room was really poor and basic and the food barely average. The hotel may be right, please believe them if you are so inclined, or perhaps not risk it - if I had known about just the impact of the football stadium I would never have stayed here with my family.

Novotel Seville is a very big hotel , located just nearby FC Seville stadium ( Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium) . It is located some 20-25 minutes walk from the Old Town , so for me there was no need to use public transport . Novotel is large hotel by itself , obviously cleaned very well as well with good maintenance. Despite some of its parts are little bit aged ( not worn out, I mean the bathroom) it is very good. I was allowed to check in very early ( around 9:30 am, due to the early morning flight to Sevile) and of course I got charged for that , but somehow I got upgraded to Executive Room ( floor 7) which meant lots of space in it. Staff are professional and efficient. WiFi is acceptable . Hotel is close to the boulevard but the windows are closing so well I haven’t heard any noise from above. I did not use the pool ( I was told there is one at the top of the Hotel), so I hope next time I will come there will be a chance to use it. There are couple of bakeries just nearby ,so if one is not having breakfast in the Hotel - try to taste local sweets. Top class ! There is a shopping mall close to Hotel and Stadium with many restaurants at the top ( I enjoyed Popeyes 😀). I got recommended Novotel by a business partner from Seville who suggested not to look for accommodation in the Old City since it is very expensive for what they are offering and those Hotels are old and very tiny. Choosing Novotel was a very good option and I certainly would like to come again if I visit Seville again.

We were disappointed with the location of the hotel because it is a little bit away from the city center. That is not the hotels fault though, it was probably something we over looked. Having said that, the hotel is quite efficient and decent for a few nights stay. We arrived and had a few issues on check in (our request for 2 rooms on the same floor and with showers vs bath tubs) had not been addressed. The receptionist said it was because Expedia had not sent them the requests. The manager on duty, Nieves, was very helpful in resolving both matters. The superior rooms are basic but spacious, clean and neat. Housekeeping does a good job too. The hotel was extremely busy while we were there with families and groups. The breakfast offering was good and everything was self service. The ere were hot and cold options. There is parking available at this hotel. All in all a decent hotel.
