Everything was bad except the receptionist who was helpful. The washbasin was not working, the tv is not working, very low lights. You need to have your phone lights in the night to see your items. In the 2nd day they got the old towel, and didn’t put another. The pool water was green and when I asked why it’s green, the worker told me because the number of people. Anyway it’s very bad experience I will never book it again. You need to stop the hotel immediately and upgrade it, otherwize you need to mention its 1 ⭐️ or less

Upon arrival, there was no office as described in the airport and it appears this office never existed. The telephone was never answered, and the shuttle bus failed to arrive on the hour as promised. Upon finally reaching the hotel, the check-in process was chaotic and unorganized. There were queue jumpers, and the reception staff did nothing to manage the situation or ensure a fair process for all guests. The room we were given smelled heavily of smoke, which was unbearable and completely unacceptable for a non-smoking In addition to the smoke smell, the room had stained carpets, and the shower barely dribbled water. The toilet became blocked after a single use. No English speakers. An attempt was made to charge more than the payment as a holding fee. The food service at the pool took an hour to arrive, which is unacceptable. Moreover, not all elevators were functional, and the gym facilities were primitive and rusting, which is unacceptable for a hotel of your standing.

We picked this hotel on advice of our local travel agent because it's located nearby a shopping center. We planned to stay there for 2 nights. Check in went smoothly. The front desk ladies were nice. When we entered the room, it's hot. Tried the aircon button, nothing. Called the front desk, they sent a housekeeping lady who explained in somewhat limited English that the hotel aircon is off so we had to open the windows. WHAT??? We talked to the front desk about it and they said, "If after returning from your tour the room is still hot, we'll change the room". Off we go on our tour. When we returned, sure enough the room was still hot . They had a new shift at the front desk and they knew the issue, so they helped us find another room. Three rooms later, now they put us in a suite, we thought it was not as hot as the previous 3. All this time, a front desk staff took us around to check all the rooms. Later the Duty Manager called and explained that for the months of March-April-May the hotel's central aircon is switched off. Why? The management's policy. WHAT??? We're tired so we settled but couldn't sleep that night, the room was too warm for us. Opening the windows didn't help a bit. The room was depressingly dark, not enough lighting. The furniture was old and the leather on the sofas is already torn. Reminds me of cheap motel, certainly not a Mercure. Bathroom lacked of good lighting. Entering the bathtub is dangerous due to its weird design and position. throughout of this the hotel staff did their best to make us feel comfortable, they were really understanding and helpful but can't do nothing about the aircon. Their gym, on the other hand, was well-lit, cool enough and had complete equipment. First thing in the morning we spent calling nearby hotels, including the nextdoor Marriott Bab Ezzouar, and asked if their aircon was also switched off. Answer: "No, ours is on!". After a sad breakfast with very limited menu, we checked out and moved to next door Marriott where we were given a beautiful and cool room.

im writing this reclamation because of the unprofessional treatment in the reception, when i was doing my check out in the reception i asked for invoice for my society the woman working there (Mounia) refused by saying "3lach ma gotlich mn kbal? than i asked for navette to take me to the aeroport she said that it's not available now and you have to wait for an hour i said that my mother is sick if there is a special navette she answered me without politeness and respect.

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I can't help but show my disappointment. Let's start from the beginning. The hotel has a free shuttle service to/from the airport. This is a plus, even if it only runs every hour. One shuttle per hour. Arriving in the hall the structure did not seem bad. A building of at least 13 floors, piano bars, restaurants... apparently everything seemed normal. The clerk tells me that they don't accept American Express and this is not good in a 4 star or even 5 star hotel as advertised on booking.com. I go up to my room, room 923. The front door could already predict what awaited me. Old and poorly maintained room, slippers not present, the liquid soap didn't work and I had to wash my hair with shampoo, power socket in the room not present and the one in the bathroom couldn't even charge the phone. I had to unplug the water kettle and use that socket. I tried to move the bedside table and behind it I found hundreds of electrical wires placed haphazardly, with the electrical tubes visible. I won't tell you about the old carpet, dirty and full of stains. The toilet was 30 centimeters from the floor, it was very low. A real disaster. Positive note was the double bed and we slept well. The breakfast was sufficient, nothing exceptional but it could do. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. Unfortunately for the exorbitant price paid (120 euros), I expect much more. They won't have the pleasure of seeing me in that hotel again.
