Stayed here for a night before a long drive. Wanted to be closer to the motorway. The location is great. McDonald’s and the Harvester is near by. I got there at 5pm and the car park was empty. Reception was a bit small but the staff were very friendly. There is a lift but a very small one. Room was tidy and clean but no electric sockets by the bed (bedside tables) so needed to charge the phone elsewhere. Didn’t use the showers! The only fault was the door lock. I managed to get in the first time. But coming back the second time, I couldn’t open the door. Went to reception and they sorted it out but went back upstairs and it still wasn’t working. Went back to reception and a gentleman came up with me. He tried a couple of times nothing but then managed to open the door. He said that it is faulty and on the way out and said you need to do it gentle. He asked me if I wanted to change rooms but I explained that I was there for one night and not going out again. He was a great help and friendly. Would stay here again.

Stayed one night after a visit to Chatsworth to break the journey home. Really good price for a double and a twin room. Room is fairly spacious with everything you need and a nice big shower room. Bed was comfortable and it was lovely and warm in the whole hotel. Quite quiet. No complaints. Staff on reception really friendly and welcoming.

Excellent hotel, just off the M1. Clean rooms, good Wi-Fi, friendly staff and value for money. Breakfast is excellent and served from 6am. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area or just passing through. Harvester next door and McDonalds at the top of the road.

Excellent location, ample parking friendly welcome Good sized rooms everything you need to stay Clean rooms need abit of sprucing up , window frames need a good scrub but very happy with what you get for a good price Didn't book breakfast this time as last time it was hit and miss with the time the food was out on the buffet, personally I enjoyed all of it and the scrambled eggs were good but it's too expensive if you just want tea and toast My son was the critical eye on the breakfast with dry bacon and tough sausage but that's just him 😂😂 For the value happy to stay again

Apart from being next to and below very noisy people, we were at the end next to the stairs and doors, it was a nice place great staff. Price was very good for what we had. Room was spotless, well stocked with towels, soaps. Bed was comfortable, can’t go wrong. Good location for visiting the peaks
