Stayed here last night. Ordered an early call for my early transport. Didn’t happen! Not impressed! Also booked with Agoda because it was cheaper than with Accor, with whom I have been a member for decades. Unable to record my visit with either Accor All or Qantas FF! Seriously unimpressed! Doubt if I’ll stay there again!

The reception staff were fantastic. The first one we met cheerfully checked us in early. Another helped us get a cab to the airport. Our room was small but clean. The bathroom was a funky plastic modular unit. It was a bit cramped, but the toilet flushed and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. The large mirror was well lit. These things count for luxury in many places that I have been. Located between the airport and the Mascot train station, this hotel served us well.

Great hotel. Haven’t stayed here for some time. Usually at the Pullman next door but it’s over priced for what you get. Ibis Sydney airport was perfect. Great staff. Dinner has a great choice. Breakfast small but fine Room as expected. Comfortable. Shower/toilet all good. No complaints

Close to the Airport, Clean and Comfortable, good Staff, good Restaurant and Bar. Our only problem was the booking, as I mistakenly booked through a foreign intermediary and was charged in $US which took the shine off....Otherwise all good.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Ibis Sydney Airport. Due to illness (Bell’s Palsy) at the time of booking, I accidentally made a non-refundable reservation without realising it. I contacted both Booking.com and the hotel well in advance to request either an amendment or a cancellation so I could still stay at the property on my actual travel dates. Despite explaining the situation and my willingness to keep the booking for different dates, the hotel responded with a flat refusal, citing that the booking was “non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-changeable.” I understand policies exist, but in this case, there was no flexibility, no goodwill gesture, and no customer care shown. For a major hotel brand, I expected more understanding and support. Unfortunately, this experience has left me unwilling to book with Ibis Sydney Airport again, and I would caution other travellers to be very careful when booking here.
