Good stuff- location, friendly staff. Our room in need of renovation, as I understand they are working on. The mattress is something out of a cheap Motel 6, back killing me after 6 hours. NO air conditioning as advertised on the website due to the time of year, it’s just shut off. The hotel plays dumb like they don’t know. To get cool fresh air, you must open the door to the extremely loud street below, so terrible night sleep if you like somewhat quiet. This is an old hotel, so not much in new technologies, like electric outlets near the bed. 4 star hotel?, don’t know how. Hilton Garden Inn in Tanger is fantastic and it’s rated the same. Breakfast is weak, if you like hot food, as I do. But. the weather was beautiful.

The dining team is delightful including preparing meals that accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs and preferences. Otherwise, however, steer clear of this hotel. After my experience, I feel compelled to recommend against staying at the hotel. I am choosing to be gracious and not detail what happened to me at the hotel.

I had a 1 hour exfoliation. I have never had one. Charifa was amazing. I did a steam bath, then the exfoliation , then a manual a rub. I was able to keep the mitten she used. Then a 5 min body mask. She also scrubbed. Y hair and conditioned it. I highly recommend this!

Good hotel, but some of the rooms have a moldy smell

This is a well-located business hotel with good facilities. Rooms are cookie-cutter type and comfortable. I was first assigned Room 314 which had a strong mold smell and broken faucet in the tub. I moved the next day to Room 305 which was marginally better with a milder mold smell and a fully functional bathtub. Be aware that groups use this hotel and try to time your breakfast arrival earlier or later than them as the breakfast room is not that large. Don’t be hesitant to mention to staff that the buffet needs replenishing - it takes them time to tend to it. Wi-fi was stable and very good.

After checking in, we tried to enter our room but the door was stuck to the flooring & it was impossible to enter the room. Went back to the reception & we were given another room across the hallway but this one had two double beds instead of the King/Queen bed we had booked. We were told that was what was available. The bath tub did not drain after a shower that evening so they sent someone to fix it. The next morning the same problem recurred . The reception had no explanation nor an apology for the inconvenience caused.
