Very nice staff, and the connection to the Hammer Restaurant and Bar, top. Very good aspargus meal on the terrace. Nice view of the river Elben. Beds were excellent, very clean all over. No so much to see in Riesa, but the location of the hotel is very close to the center of the town.

Oh my word this place is like a nightmare! It makes outdated look outdated! Beds pillows and linen are just horrific, the bathrooms are old and ugly! The tv is so small I felt like I was trying to watch a laptop from my bed and there is ONLY German tv, considering a hotel would generally have foreigners it would have been amazing to just have one channel in English! The breakfast was terrible! I could not wait to leave this place and I’m so glad I never have to go back!

good service very friendly people, location central close to restaurant, easy access in and out of the city, rooms have desk , refrigerator and very nice bathroom , bed is very comfortable, clean, windows can be open for fresh air

The thing I,like about the mercure chain is you get the same in most of there hotels. Great check in, friendly klnowlegible staff who go the extra mile and a clean room with all the amenities you need. A little out from the centre but close to the train station and good eateries adjacent. Happy to recommend.

It sort of has it's own weird bar attached, and also a bar alongside the hotel with limited outside seating. The rooms are nice and the staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was average for a mid range German hotel. There are a few restaurants but they are around 30 minutes walk away.
