Budget friendly City center oasis just a little improvement needed

We stayed for three nights at this city centre location and the absolute added bonus was the pool which was situated in amazing well kept gardens which unfortunately was let down by the fact that the rest of the hotel and furnishings were very worn and dated. It is in desperate need of a full refurbish. The room we had should have been a double but was in fact a twin room. The curtain was hanging off the rail so couldn't be closed properly. There was no kettle or fridge which was inconvenient as I had brought all the necessary provisions to enjoy a coffee in the mornings without having to leave the room. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The staff were excellent and very helpful. House keeping serviced the room daily. The hotel is right next door to the train station which was great for us to experience a train journey to Rabat.All in all a good value hotel that I would recommend but with a little investment I personally would be happy to pay more.

Unacceptable Service and Lack of Accommodation

Upon arrival, we requested a mini fridge for my mother, who requires proper storage for her medications to maintain their effectiveness. To our disappointment, the hotel was unable to provide this basic and essential accommodation. Despite explaining the importance of this request due to medical reasons, the response we received from the staff was not only unhelpful but also unprofessional and rude. Their attitude was dismissive, and the service felt cheap and careless. Given the seriousness of the situation and the lack of empathy and support from the hotel staff, we were left with no choice but to check out early and urgently find alternative accommodation at a nearby hotel that was able to meet our needs. This experience was distressing, unacceptable, and not at all reflective of the standards one should expect from a reputed hotel chain. I will not be recommending Ibis Hotel to anyone in the future, and I hope this feedback prompts serious reflection and improvement in your customer service and medical accommodation policies.

Stayed for 4 nights, located next to the railway station. If you have a room on station side you can hear the train horns during the night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, croissants, cheese, egg etc. Toaster is useless, you will never get brown toast. Room was fine with a comfy bed and a good shower.. Taxis available outside to take you to the Medina but be prepared to haggle for one, don’t pay the asking price.

Great location right next to the train station. Good swimming pool and loungers for sun bathing relaxation. Standard rooms. It's an old hotel but still very nice. Friendly reception staff. Security need to remember who is a guest instead of asking the same guests every time if they are staying here.

IBIS Fes, A terrible place. Would not recommend this to anyone. Room allocated to us was dirty. Cigarette butts all over. Even though the second room allocated was dirty. Sheets I believe had not been changed. I had to spend around an hour at the reception since they had challenges with their system. Overall, one horrible place and one could do much better by finding other hotels to stay in.
