The room was very dated and the air conditioning did not work. Every time tried to enter the room had to go and get a new card. Food was horrible especially the pool restaurant and the breakfast. Hygiene almost non existent and the quality of food disgusting.

Comfortable stay in Luxor with a bit of old world charm.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Winter Pavillion which provided a bit of comfort after a lot of travelling. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast staff were lovely. The breakfast itself was plentiful and high-quality. The pool area and gardens, shared by the main Sofitel, re really nice and we enjoyed the pool a lot. Poolside snacks and drinks are also great. The room itself was a little dated and tired and needed a bit of a spruce up but it was clean and comfortable. Location is excellent. If you want to save a bit of money compared to the Sofitel proper while you visit Luxor this place is fine.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The view from the room was perfect. The service was very good, and the gardens were beautiful. The location of the hotel is great. We would love to return.

We spent 7 nights over Christmas at the winter pavilion. We originally booked for 5 nights but had such a lovely time we decided to extend. A big thank you to Mohamed Ahmed, the Reception Manager! The rooms were large and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. The breakfast offering had something for everyone and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

A beautiful garden and comfortable room - conveniently located steps to Nile ferry. Pleased with the extended breakfast (5:30am to 10:30am) hours - great if you have an early flight, going hot air ballooning or just want to sleep in. Room is definitely tired but spotlessly clean, towels replaced, soap restocked, shampoos etc filled. Nice to have tea kettle with instant coffee, tea, sugar in room as well as minifridge (stocked, you pay). Loved the west facing balcony to catch the 5pm sunset! or star gaze at midnight... The staff was helpful and friendly. Everything we needed was here at a reasonable price point. Dead quiet at night. Would definitely stay again.
