Location is convenient - just across from the train station. Service is very good, except for the dining room, which seemed understaffed given some items needed replenishing. The breakfast buffet was adequate, nothing more. I appreciated the complimentary water and slippers. The room was clean but I did notice a little mold by the shower edge in the bathroom. Decor was a bit dark.

We are members of the ACCOR/ALL family, and we always look for a Mercure or Novotel, if and when available, when we plan a trip. Having said that, my wife and I are particularly happy about our decision to opt for Hotel Mercure Bologna Centro. Located opposite the main station, this hotel was a blessing in disguise in more ways than one. Pasquale, the reception manager, is very friendly and helped us check in a little early. He was also generous to give us a list of restaurants, a couple of which we checked out. We will always be extremely grateful to him. Besides the locations, the rooms at Mercure Bologna Centro are clean and well furnished. The breakfast options are good, and the bar is well-stocked. The two bar managers were also extremely friendly. The location worked to our advantage. When we head to Bologna again, Mercure Bologna Centro is where we will be staying.

I'm at the hotel now. The internet keeps going off and you cannot even have a virtual call. Turned off the camera's and still horrible internet Not a business hotel. Stay next door or somewhere else if you are visiting for work and expect decent internet. Maybe should write to Accor as I read others have had the same issue

Раньше неоднократно останавливались в Mercure, в Бергамо, Лионе и много где еще, этот, определенно худший. По сути По сути, Ибис с холодильником, а если уж говорить про завтрак, то он здесь сильно хуже, чем в пражском и даже ярославском Ибисах. Матрас тоже не понравился, жёсткий, такого в Mercure раньше не было. Нет подставки для чемодана, позор для 4-х звёзд. У меня была ещё одна бронь в этом отеле на обратном пути, в итоге, отменил, забронировал Carlton, там таких проблем нет.

We stayed in a number of motels whilst travelling Italy and the Mercure Bologna Centro was one of the best. Across the road from the central railway station and a short walk to the shopping district you could pick a better location. The motel staff were extremely welcoming and enormously helpful when providing directions around the City. The Cafe, Bar and Restaurant provided excellent food with a really good wine list. The had two dinners in the restaurant while we were there which demonstrates how good the service and food was. Our room (thank you for the upgrade) overlooked the garden which gave you the feeling that you were in a rural setting and not in the middle of the city. It would be wonderful in the spring and summer period. All I can say is thank you to the staff for making it such a wonderful stay.
