Hotel Mercure Bordeaux Centre Ville 4 yıldız

Stayed for one night and chose this location as it was handy for tram A, which we needed to go to a concert venue. Very easy walking distance to Place Gambetta and many bars and restaurants. Room was excellent and bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The immediate surrounding area may look a bit off putting, but it’s a very short walk to the prettier part of Bordeaux. We booked Sunday brunch in the Sans Pression restaurant. Huge selection of freshly made, local produce and a very wide choice of food. Excellent. The only improvement I would suggest is soft-close room doors, as there was a lot of door banging early in the morning. Overall, a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for the Gloucester vs Bordeaux rugby match. A solid base for exploring Bordeaux, it is in Meriadeck which is not right in the centre of Bordeaux but the hotel offers a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town. Hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. Although not the most luxurious of settings the Bar had a very good selection of beers and did offer basic food, although we did not try. The hotel itself is set inside a not so modern building but the rooms were all recently renovated and had modern air con and new TVs. Unfortunately the lifts were broken during the stay but the staff did their best to try and appease and opened up the service lifts. Breakfast was a little chaotic, particularly around the hot food section but this may have been down to the number of people in the restaurant at the time. Would stay again.

Stayed for just one night but had a lovely welcome , I was checking out very early the following day and the very kind receptionist arranged a 'breakfast to go' which was delicious and hugely appreciated. This was done with no prompting from me. The receptionist was also super enthusiastic about Bordeaux, and he drew me a great walking map of sights to see. He was a credit to the hotel, engaging , genuine and enthusiastic, he couldn't do enough for me. The hotel was very comfortable, my room had a lovely bathtub which was a surprise for a Mercure.

friendly staff, great room, convenient location. while you can get food here, not really a formal restaurant, just tables in the bar. excellent value to explore the city from, located next to the tram system, very walk-able area

I had a great stay there and particularly enjoyed the bar at the reception. The team was very friendly (I think Anthony in particular was a great lyricist!). Nice selection of local beers and I thought the karaoke was a great touch. Breakfast was good. Thank you.
