Major construction and rooms smell bad

This hotel is under going a MAJOR renovation. Not just the facade, but the photos of the lobby are completely inaccurate. It’s all ripped up with plastic up, jack hammers going, and dust everywhere. Which you have to go past to get to the elevators to reach the rooms. There was no indication of this during booking, which I find very deceptive. The rooms smell very bad like body oder. We tried two rooms that were available, and both were disgusting. They tried to open the window to air out the second while we waited but it was still the same issue. Our family had the same issue with their room and were able to get the only renovated room left available. It smelled like wet paint still. So it was a pick your poison kind of situation. I will say these two positives, it is very close to the train station and the self serve coffee machine in the makeshift lobby is nice.

Yet another woeful experience in France.

This is a hotel that promises little, yet comfortably delivers less. Under uncertain circumstances, (perhaps after a flood, or some other natural disaster) one might be relieved to stay here, but only under duress or threat of bodily violence, would I ever stay here again.

Really liked this hotel. Hotel Fantastic reception team - super friendly and wanted to help and ready to offer recommendations for the area. Very clean and modern reception space. Our suite was very spacious, modern and clean and met/exceeded my expectations. Location - quieter area but quite close to the main squares for dining and shopping For anyone trying to park there, you can stop at the front to drop off/fetch your luggage. Ask the reception team to park your car as they will go park it for you and can set your ev up to charge for free overnight. Win win. If you don’t have an ev, the public car park price vs the hotel was not too different. Staying at this hotel definitely helped make our time in Toulouse very pleasant.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. Staff at the receptions was really welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and fresh. Only issue I faced was when the milk sachet in the room got over, I called the housekeeping directly to ask for more however the lady who picked up the call very abruptly said “Only Spanish or French” and before I could say anything she hung up the call on my face which I find to be extremely rude and should not happen with any guest. Please take care in future and give further training to staff if necessary.

It is difficult to fault any aspect of this hotel. Staff were attentive and helpful. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Can't comment on the restaurant as it was closed on Sunday evening but the bar was friendly and reasonably priced. I'd definitely return.
