Well at 105 euros for a small tatty room with two dogs and no breakfast , wasn’t good value we both thought it was a budge hotel inside . Room was dated and tired and cramped . We ate in the hotel as tired after a very long day travelling through tunnel . I had pasta of the day , ping meal not great , hubby had steak was ok , we was greeted by two miserable staff both unhelpful and looked like they didn’t want to be there let alone serve you . We wanted a few drinks to unwind after travelling for 11 hours , but we was made to feel this was a massive inconvenience to the point waitress even pointed at her watch , it was only 8 ish so not late so we ordered . Annoying when we finished our meal a couple came in and sat down to order food , why was we made to order so soon the place was near empty . Wouldn’t stay hear ever again .

Good overnight stop to Spain. Easy to find. Situated directly opposite a shopping area with food outlets eg kfc, Quick and some local cafes. Comfortable room, small but fine for 1 night. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Free parking. 2nd stay here.

A good location for Poitiers, with good parking, not far from the motorway.

Last minute booking as we needed to access a location in Poitiers early in the morning. Friendly staff on reception, and when answering the telephone. Good parking. Room comfortable, quiet and clean. As we arrived late, we anticipated that the restaurant would be closed, but were delighted that wasn’t the case. We were also very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food that we ordered. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful, and welcoming.

Who are these males hanging around the site? Very off putting

We have stayed here a few times over the past 3 or 4 years. This time was all good apart from being accosted at the reception door by a young man begging for cigarettes with various other feral looking males hanging around. Dinner was expensive and not what I'd expect for the price. I chose the rump steak which came and was cooked beautifully however, it was swamped by a huge portion of fries and nothing else. I asked for a glass of wine and the wine glass was little more than a large egg cup - again for the price of food and drink it fell short of expectations. Certainly the males hanging around the site of the Budget Ibis and the Hotel is very off putting when arriving at reception.

Check-in friendly, we had booked a twin bedded room, however when we got to the room it was a double bed. Went back to reception to be told the hotel is full so can't change room. I'd only booked the room on the Accor app whilst sitting in the car park, therefore the twin room had to be available. Also we were given what has to be the worst room in the hotel, first floor right next to the hotel door where guests went outside to smoke, therefore unable to have the window open due to not only the smell of tobacco but also noise of people coming and going. As Accor platinum members we are meant to be allocated the best available room, unfortunately this doesn't apply here. On check out, I mentioned all of this, to be met with "oh" and that was that. Sorry but extremely disappointed with this hotel
