This Ibis met our needs perfectly for a few nights in Lyon on our way home from Spain by train. Very convenient for Gare Part Dieu. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly & helpful and the bar area is nice for an evening drink. This is a 3* so no frills, if you want big rooms, thick fluffy towels etc stay somewhere else! Breakfast is fine but not amazing. We didn’t eat in the restaurant. Would stay here again if travelling to Lyon by train.

We stayed with a school group of 22 and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable—nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for our needs. Breakfasts were fresh, varied, and a great way to start each day. Organising a large group can be challenging, but the hotel made everything smooth and stress-free. Their friendly service and attention to detail really stood out. We felt welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again with a group. A truly wonderful stay!

192 euros for such hotel...? I won't use them again - the room was really small...but ok, I can live with that - the shower had black stain in the angles... but what makes me frustrated is to be charged for a breakfast that I can't access. Really asked... 5.00 am Would a lunch box be possible ? - you can pick what you want and the staff will pack it for you as this is the time they start preparing for breakfast. Indeed it was not possible and nothing was on-going at that time.

What we loved about the hotel - huge and comfortable bed - very close to the train station - the friendliest receptionist staff - bike storage in their garage for our bikes (make sure to take your bike lock) - basic toiletries in the bathroom - powerful and very hot shower - you could open the windows fully to air the room - ambience of the common areas and bar downstairs Things to be mindful of - this is a budget hotel, hence the price, but it is a great hotel and is in a great location

We spent two nights at this hotel. What did we like about the hotel? _ Easy walking distance (10 minutes) from the main railway station. - Bus stop two minutes walk away. Local buses are easy to use. - Good restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was good and reasonably priced. - Good buffet breakfast. - Bar in the hotel. Reasonably priced. - Close to plenty of restaurants and bars. - Staff are pretty good - young and friendly. What we didn't really like? - Our room was very small and basic, no frills. We chose this hotel because of its closeness to the railway station and because, compared to other hotels in the area, it was reasonably priced.
