Edge of town functional hotel with parking. Friendly staff too

The location is on the edge of town near to major access roads so for a stopover for a one or two day visit it will tick the box for most people. It is 30 minutes walk to the main gate of the castle and a little longer to the edge of the newer part of town by the river so if you are happy to walk then it isn’t an issue. Rooms are small but functional. A good choice buffet breakfast and the staff and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and tidy. Plenty of car parking outside. Be aware there is no food available at the weekend in this hotel and food during the week is based around either a 2 course or 3 course menu. Food is very good There is a Campanile hotel across the road which does food in the evening during the week too. If you are happy to walk then there is a restaurant ‘Au Bureau’ which is pretty much open every night which is excellent, very large menu and good quality food. Similar to All Bar One in the UK. Staff are friendly - Especially Zak The area around the hotel is scruffy and more like an industrial estate so if you want to be nearer the action then it may not be the hotel for you There is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away which takes you near to the castle and runs straight into town. This is by an abandoned supermarket. Adjacent to the Ibis is a Lidl store. Buses run every 20 minutes or 30 minutes at the weekend. Cost 1€20 - no service on Sunday and finishes around 8pm

Pleasant stay, very clean comfortable, friendly staff, good dinner and breakfast. Two issues: 1. shower pan was a little slippery, Bathroom needed a grab-rail at shower entry. 2. Bed was too large for the room size, a slightly smaller bed would make the room feel less cramped.

チェックイン時間が遅かったにも関わらず問題なくチェックインができ、その後、氷やお湯なども速やかに提供して戴き、快適であった。またチェックアウト時間も12：00であり、各種作業が終えてからチェックアウトできた。機会があればぜひまた利用したい。

Free carpark is provided at this place. The breakfast is ok. The room was small but clean. The pool was a nice addition but wish it was bigger. Too crowded the day we stayed.

All right for a one night stay, but no more.

The most poorly designer en-suite - toilet roll holder above and behind your head; shower tray is slippery and lethal for older people ( several people mentioned this). Mattress topper kept sliding over so I could hardly get out between it and the wall! New pillows and towels required. Corridor carpet worn and badly stained. Staff very helpful.
