Avoid this run down overpriced hotel. Premium sea view room was in poor condition: sink was cracked, a/c is old and did not properly cool the room, and phone in bedroom did not work, Dinner at the restaurant was overpriced and sub par. A filet of St Pierre consisted of 3 tiny strips of fish trimmings (not a whole filet) and was priced at €38. Sofitel really needs to pay more attention to quality control. They sure messed up here.

Hotel was isolated. Away from all the great tourist spots. Rooms were on the older side, needs renovation. Food was subpar. Won’t be staying, not considered 5 star at all. Maybe 2 star at most. Don’t recommend at all.

La ville de Porticcio est à quelques minutes à pied et Ajaccio à 20 minutes en voiture. Nous espérons avoir la chance de vous faire changer d'avis sur nos prestations lors d'un prochain séjour. The hotel setting is fabulous, on a peninsula overlooking the bay and Adjaccio. From check-in to check-out the staff were very attentive and welcoming, really first class. The rooms are very nice, they are possibly a little tired but, I understand that the hotel is undergoing a re-furb in early 2024 which will, I am sure, address that. The beach is small but lovely, do get there early though as it fills up quickly - tip, go early evening as the sea is warm and most people have left so you can have the whole beach pretty much to yourselves. There was always room by the pool which is a great size and heated so a very comfortable swim. Food is very good although the menu doesn’t change so, after a week I think it would be too repetitive. There is nothing really around the hotel so you should hire a car. There are several places within a 10-20 minute drive. Overall a very relaxing stay in a lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Would very much recommend it.
