Thos is my favorite Hotel in Manaus,the service is excellent everybody are so nice, Front Desk,Restaurant and House Keeping well training staff.I want to mention in the Bar, Alexandra she's doing a Fantastic job; Front Desk, Maria Vitoria she's so nice. Even though we arrived at the Novotel Manaus after 2 hours in the morning, we had a very warm welcome. Our rooms were already ready and we could move into them immediately. The rooms are large enough, but very simply furnished and a bit shabby. The breakfast tasted excellent and there was a relatively large selection. Although the Novotel Manaus is located in the industrial district, there is a very nice garden and a small swimming pool. Great price-performance ratio!

A great place with a tropical feel to relax and unwind after exploring the jungle around Manaus. Friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, a nice swimming pool, and gardens all around. And relatively cheap on top of this. Some 30 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes To the center.

I didn't have any of the problems some reviewers below have mentioned. The address (Distrito Industrial) should give you a clue that it's not in downtown Manaus, but we didn't have any problems getting taxis (there is Uber in Manaus). The location is the only downside in that there are no shops or restaurants nearby. I went to the petrol station to stock up on bottled water as it was much cheaper than the hotel. My room was fine; clean and comfortable. My safe didn't work when I checked in but it was sorted out within a few minutes. The staff were all helpful and pleasant, though some didn't speak English (which was good for me as it meant I had to practice Portuguese). Breakfast was the standard Brazilian hotel buffet - I liked it, and though busy I always got a table. The main dinner menu was OK, with a few interesting regional dishes. Food highlight was the Sunday lunchtime feijoada buffet. It was packed with locals (usally a good sign) and I enjoyed the food, which seemed authentic.

The Novotel is very understaffed. Service in all aspects is slow. I stayed four nights and canceled a future reservation. Room service did not leave clean towels. Front desk was non responsive to any requests. Restaurant was unable to keep up with the number of guests. Buffets were good, but very often the food trays took forever to be refilled. I booked an executive room and got a standard room at the more expensive rate. There was a PepsiCo company event for several days which made eating meals difficult. It felt more like a cafeteria. Rooms are very small. TV controls were in chinese. Fortunately, Netflix controls were english. Andrea at the front desk was like a strict matron. Towels are very thin. A Motel 6 looks better
