My wife and I have been using this hotel up to Covid for 12 years, each year on booking we have requested the same room as it faced the car park and we keep a ready eye on our car. Until Covid I would have had no hesitation in recommending the Hotel. On July 30 we arrived and was curtly told all rooms were booked and we were on the next floor, which we accepted with reservations. We booked a table and the meals that were served were appalling, no apology was forthcoming but on check out they graciously discounted the costs of the food. On arrival this evening, again the room requested was not available and were given a room over the pool side where there was a 40 something pumping out the sort of music which resulted in us not taking dinner. The reception simply said I do not understand I cannot speak English so she was next to useless, however after a lot of exchanges we were moved to a room overlooking the car park, peace rains. The bed linen was dirty, no courtesy bottled water even though they provide in in July and Novotel in Colmar provided Spring and still water. Time to select an alternative hotel for next year and anyone considering such a stay do reconsider.

My wife and I stayed overnight en route from North Wales to Tuscany. After a long day of travelling we arrived at 11.00pm. Check in was effortless, the restaurant had closed but we just wanted some rest. The room was quiet, comfortable bed, good air conditioning and great shower and toiletries. Yes, the decor is a little dated but everything else was good. I think we would have welcomed some coffee sachets in the room. We had a few sachets of speciality tea but as we were back on the road early a coffee would have gone down well. The comfy bed ensured we had a good nights sleep and we were back on the road by 0700 the next day. Its close to the A4 so ideal for a stay whilst travelling through France. Would certainly return.

Close to the cemetery

We decided to spend the night here since we were visiting the cemetery the next morning, it’s just 2 minutes drive from the main gate. The hotel staff was friendly and the check-in was quick and easy! We had a nice room that included a small fridge and a water kettle. The shower was nice and the bed comfortable! The dinner in the restaurant was a bit pricey for what we had, and we waited an hour for our food.

Handy stop over, close to motorway - bring a picnic !

Typical older style Novotel, clean, welcoming, nice decor, but a bit tired. Close to motorway, just off main road, in it’s own compound surrounded by woodland. Plenty of parking with a security gate. Staff very friendly and helpful . Airy reception with (expensive) bar. Room was large, massive comfortable bed, shower room and separate WC. Aircon and opening window. Well appointed and clean. Seems Novotel, like Ibis, use plastic mattress protectors now, which I find uncomfortably hot. The restaurant is nice although the food is overpriced and the drinks expensive - but there’s no alternative without getting back in the car …

Old novotel style of the 80's-90's. Some parts were modernized, but rest is still old school. Restaurant: very little choice, so i didn't stay. But in the area, there is almost nothing to find except fast food. Breakfast very very basic. And drinks at the bar extremely expensive. Too expensive for what you get
