Humid and hot in the rooms, but you’re literally trapped in the heat, because air-conditioning doesn’t work in any of the rooms, and you can not open the windows, as most of the rooms are groundfloor-level, so people are passing by right outside your window. The rooms are shabby and outdated, mold and stains in the bathroom, the bathroom mirror broken, and there is no elevator to the rooms: You have to carry all your luggage up and down the stairs. And one very embarrassing detail: In the bathtooms you will find RITUAL dispensers with soap and shower gel, but - as so many other guests have stated - there is no rituals inside, but cheap supermarket shower gel - with that typical slightly disgusting hospital-smell. Reception is ok and friendly, lobby somewhat pleasant, therefore the 2nd star.

Was a bit concerned about staying at the Novotel Dijon Sud after reading some negative comments. However we had a lovely overnight stay here. Staff in all areas of the hotel made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean and comfortable with little extras such as tea, coffee making facilities, fridge, hairdryer and toiletries. Service and quality of food in the restaurant was good and there was a varied selection of hot and cold options for breakfast. Overall would recommend for an overnight stay.

Disappointing, disorganised. Booked a classic double and was given a double with disabled bathroom. We always stay with Novotel but sadly this is nothing like any other Novotel. Poor food, expensive and highly disappointing. The food was inedible at dinner last night.Dirty bins overflowing, dirty doors with sticky fingerprints at the entrance and doors to the terrace. The only saving gar e was that he manager gave us 5000 Accor rewards as compensation.

Avoid this property.

Reserved through the Accor web site as a Platinum member. The property advertises its rooms as available from 12:00. We were asked to wait for half an hour when we tried to check in at 15:00, as no rooms were available. The rooms are basic and the airconditioning struggled when outside temperatures were 30 degrees. On the second night of our 3 night stay, sewerage or waste water from the room above flowed through the roof of our bathroom with us having to endure the fowlest of smells for the night. We were moved to an adjacent room on the next morning with no apologies being offered by the staff. By the next night we can still smell wafts of the same foul smell coming into our new room through the air conditioning. As a long-term loyal Accor customer, I can report that this property is a total disappointment. The worst experience in many good years with Accor.

Arrived to staff at reception that were more bothered about talking to each other then checking people in. Told while checking in that the restaurant was fully booked and no chance of a meal near by. We travelled into Dijon and had a lovely meal....... Room was dirty and the air con was awful. Only one light worked in our room but no one to talk to about this when we got back after eating out.
