Easily recognisable thanks to their traditional bright storefronts, these tiny fast food shops are some of the busiest places in the city. You'll find delicious local dishes at incredibly low prices, made in-house by the neighbourhoods' many cooks, who get up as early as 3am to start preparing food for friends and neighbours!

The Knots Living Cafe offers much more than a cup of coffee. The owners noticed that lots of people were taking photos of their coffees to put on Instagram, so they've started providing clients with all the props they need to enhance their pictures, from plants to on-trend accessories - all part of the service! The café has excellent food, sensational music and inspires creativity throughout the country. The perfect place to meet new people, brush up on your Malay and maybe even get a good photo for your album.
