Overall we had a wonderful time, staff is amazing, super friendly, food variety and taste was very good, landscaping well maintained. Our beach villa was spacious, clean with all amenities. Only thing: maintenance is needed here. We would return again. We leave with a smile.

We had a stay at so Sofitel for 6 days it’s a nice to be hear very good resort full of all amenities and comforts. Staff is very nice , polite and helpful especially Ms Divya she is a very kind person take care of each and every guest personally . Food is very tasty as we are from india and pure vegetarian so they take special care of us and cook vegetarian food for us they have an indian food corner specially for vegetarian food lovers. Really wanted to come again and also recommend our friend and family members to visit Mauritius and stay at so Sofitel.

Where do I begin with reviewing this hotel...had the most amazing stay here thanks to Mr Rajiv and Miss Divya, who looked after me and my husband. They did a little surprise birthday for my husband upon request, set up a nice table with flowers at the main restaurant and even upgraded our stay to late check-out. Amazing food. Slept so well, bed had the softest pillows. We were very well taken care of and made sure we were not missing anything. I highly recommend SO SOFITEL for someone who's looking to have a peaceful and relaxing stay here. The hotel is huge and the rooms are very private, just like private villas. Amazing.

First of all the resort is beautiful- the greenery is soo nice. The staffs are so polite and helpful specially Divya from the reception.. The biggest asset of this hotel the big garden and pool. A little suggestion is to improve the indian corner at the buffet- add more varieties. We will come again and recommend to our friends and family.

Nice & quiet if you want to relax ! Large compound, you can either walk or use the buggy service (Thanks Avinash & one of his night colleague for the lifts & exchanges). Gym & pétanque playground OK ! Unfortunately very windy during our stay, no use of swimming pool (not a heated one plus it’s the only pool available). Security lady at the gate very welcoming, Shivani & Raj assured a warm welcome at reception area. Not impressed at all by the room, need some refreshing touches here & there coz getting a bit old. For a 5*, was expecting quality materials & surgical cleanliness ! Outside tub dirty. Comfortable bedding & quilt/pillow though. Mauritian night for the dinner buffet ! So so nice & mouth watering dishes ! Everything was perfect, Alain & the lady at farata/dalpuri bar were helpful & welcoming, had a nice chat with them. Large variety of everything even though it’s a small buffet, cater for both veg & non veg clients ! A lot of greenery in the hotel compound, well maintained. That’s a feel good point. A walk on the beach at sunset definitely tops the stay ! Enjoyable hotel but doesn’t live up a title of 5*, could have been a 4*.
