We have just returned home after 11 days here. There are a lot of positives from our holiday, but unfortunately the small amount of negatives that there are, we wouldn’t return back to the hotel - which makes us really sad! We were welcomed by a lovely lady who was quick to send us off to go and get some food from People’s Restaurant as we were all hungry. We were stunned at just how beautiful the inside of the hotel is, the pictures we had seen really didn’t do it justice. Our room was small, but enough room for myself, my husband and our 10 year old daughter. We had a lovely view of the gardens/sea. Our room was filled with heart balloons & champagne as we arrived on our anniversary. The room cleaning was a bit hit & miss but the minibar was restocked everyday. The heated pool was lovely! The small kids pool is heated too. The main large pool isn’t heated so we didn’t really use that one. The water slides were really good and super quiet. The service at this hotel was exceptional. Some of the hotel workers spoke better English than others, but we never had a problem at all. Always friendly and had a smile on their faces. Nazli at the beach bar couldn’t do enough for us, always checking to see if we needed anything. Mustafa at the Lotus Bar was incredible with our family. He remembered our names, our favourite types of cocktails & always made time to chat with us. There were a couple more but unfortunately didn’t get their names. The food was great, we mainly ate at the Turquoise restaurant and the food court. On the last day, we discovered that People’s had chicken tenders and they were lovely! Wish we’d have found them earlier. The ice cream parlour was amazing - I think it was our daughter’s favourite part of the entire hotel! Each bar has a freezer filled with ice creams (Magnum & Cornettos mainly). And the waiters around the pool would often hand ice creams out too. We went at a really great time and there was a week long festival at the hotel, which included some great entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the bands/DJs at the island bar each afternoon. The entertainment at the Lotus Bar was good, lots of dance acts but some with different types of entertainment alongside it. Now for the negatives. This is no fault of the hotel, but the level of rudeness of some of the other guests was uncomfortable. The amount of people that would push in front of us when waiting in line for food or drinks was horrible. We witnessed so many people be rude to the hotel staff, it was upsetting. Other guests would just stand in front of you at the entertainment and block your view, or they would give you a rude look if you didn’t share your seat with their screaming children. Again, not the fault of the hotel itself. We have never had this happen anywhere else that we have visited, but we should have expected it as other English reviews have mentioned having a similar experience. Lastly, the most disappointing part was in fact the Kids Club. We had originally booked a different Rixos hotel, but decided to come here instead because the Kids Club looked incredible. But it just didn’t live up to the expectations at all. Our daughter would turn up every day expecting to do a couple of the activities listed on the morning WhatsApp, only to realise that it wasn’t actually on (she’d have to ask about 3 different people about where stuff was and nobody had a clue/cared!). Nobody at the kids club would make sure she was okay or help her find an activity to do. She would just stand there until she felt that uncomfortable that she would leave. The staff at the kids club need to do better at sticking to the planned activities and ensuring the children visiting are never made to feel uncomfortable. The exclusive sports for kids at 2pm at the outdoor sports area was amazing! But that would be the only activity for our daughter that would be perfectly organised. We really did have an unforgettable holiday and I’m sure so many others visiting will have an incredible time like we did. So many positives about the hotel, food, drinks, pools, staff etc… but just not somewhere we could return to.

Amazing resort and deserves this long review. We'd definitely return in a heart beat.

We went for just a week to recuperate after terrible year that ended with dad's death leaving us emotionally and physically shattered. We just wanted a bit of sun, heat, pool and quiet space to come to terms with our loss and to recharge our batteries. Sun and heat being in short supply where we live. This place delivered and then some. We arrived 2am local time after 1.5 hour transfer from Antalya airport (we were 4th and last in drop off transfer shuttle) and first thing we were asked was if we wanted to eat. We were all so exhausted since we'd been travelling since 6am previous day we said we'd just head to our room. We had booked a family deluxe 2 bedroom suite with garden view in main hotel so we were initially confused when asked to go to golf cart outside. We went on what seemed a long trip in dark and as mum couldn't walk very far I was initially worried how far we were going from main building. We arrived at the door of what looked like a modern 2 storey terraced house and let ourselves in. Straight into a twin bedroom with en suite and mini fridge stocked with snacks and soft drink downstairs and super king with ensuite and mini fridge stocked with snacks, local beer and selection of soft drinks upstairs. Wasn't until morning when we got up that we realised we'd been upgraded to a pool villa with private terrace and 4 loungers and a balcony with 2 chairs for master suite upstairs. There were lots of European 2 pin sockets but be warned - no shaver points - just European sockets with covers over top at bathroom sinks so if needing to charge shavers/epilators /toothbrushes dont forget to bring a shaver adaptor plug to put into normal European adaptor plugs. There was 1 safe upstairs and robes/slippers for upstairs and when asked if we could have another for mum who was downstairs, there was no issue supplying more and request very promptly carried out as was our request to have more bottled water for villa and the lock on downstairs bathroom fixed too (you couldn't lock door for privacy due to fault). The adjacent swim up pool was chest deep (about 5ft deep) in the middle with gentle non slippy slope at sides. Cold fresh water warmed by the sun so coldish start of week (days were max 25c) but by end of week when days were early 30c you waded in without 2nd thought. We had to remind our son constantly not to run inside the villa when he had been in the pool without drying feet first But being 9 he forgot once and his wet feet slipped on the smooth marble tiled stairs to our room and he learned the hard way with massive bruise on backside where he landed on edge of stairs. Maybe hotel might consider mats for terrace patio door - we just put a towel down on floor so feet got dried before going inside. Although there were other families staying in adjoining villas the pool was mostly unused so was very peaceful. Villas are laid out in a way that kept noise to a minimum and allowed a certain amount of privacy re sunbathing. There is a golf cart shuttle that constantly does a loop round resort every 10 minutes or so so no problems re mum and mobility. The What'sApp group you get added to was very useful and wifi was brilliant all round the resort which, incidentally, was very squeaky clean and well manicured. Such a joy to walk through the grounds. We'd booked a hamman experience for me and leg massage for mum on 2nd day at the hotel. We didn't want to leave resort as we were there for just a week and were, as mentioned before, exhausted. The spa was heavenly and not crowded. Rashid identified my 15 year shoulder muscle kink during the hamman experience and recommended a remedial massage. There was no problem booking him immediately there and then for the remedial massage - just bliss and I've never felt more relaxed after. My mum and husband (and friends on seeing my after massage photos) all commented just how relaxed and well I looked. Isa worked miracles on mum's swollen legs. We just felt so much better afterwards that we both booked a 2nd massage later in the week with Rashid/Isa again and again, no issues re getting appointments for when we wanted. The lazy river was brilliant for both adults/child alike and our son loved the childrens splash water park and the water slides. We never went into larger pool at main building as we had our own at the villa but I did lie on sun loungers round main pool and enjoyed the roller skating waiter service. Sheer decadence having drinks brought without having to move. Speaking of loungers there were copious amounts dotted all round resort along with very plentiful towel stations - the loungers never seemed to be more than 1/2 full. We all loved the icecream place. With our son having a sensory processing issue, we were worried (needlessly) that his strict eating habits might be a problem. The choice in the main restaurant was vast and did overwhelm our son somewhat re size of choice available but every day/meal there was something he could eat and he loved the fresh breads and pizza. Isawn the restaurant manager was fantastic and said if there was something he wanted and wasnt there, he could arrange for it for us. He always made sure we had a table in the smaller outside non smoking section and looked after us. He was devastated when we had an unfortunate incident with my son's drink on our last day but the hotel dealt with it promptly with their Health &Safety manager also talking to us within 10 minutes of us bringing problem to Isawn's attention. We felt hotel handled everything competently and our son suffered no harm from the incident. We never used our free al la carte allowance as we just didn't feel the need to. The only disappointment was the cakes in the patisserie downstairs. They looked absolutely amazing but when you ate into them, it was like eating playdoh. Very bland tasteless gloop so on a plus side helped keep the weight off as we never bothered with the cakes again. The different teas were lush though. Cocktails in the main reception were far better than those from bar at food court and if the cocktail you wanted was not on the menu, their mixologist did his absolute best. Dark and stormy cocktail no problem...no ginger beer so he made ginger beer from scratch in front of us and it was amazing. We admired the enthusiastic keepfit classes from the safety of our sun loungers but we did do archery which was great fun (adults only allowed though). The kids club looked good but our son didn't want to leave us so stayed with us around the pool and was very happy. He did fancy wood working class but disappointed it wasn't burning patterns in wood but making toddler push along toys which were a bit young for him despite class saying for 8-12 years session. Parents not encouraged to stay with kids but I'd already warned them about him being sensory autistic when we booked class for him and when he wanted me to stay, it wasn't an issue and it let the session supervisor concentrate on the other kids more. The beach consists of small sharp stony pebbles so beach/swim shoes very much advised and being so early in season, sea still a bit too chilly for a proper sea swim. There are 2 small souvenir supermarket shops on site selling variety of sun skin care as well as snacks, turkish delight, tea/coffee, pool inflatables, toys. Although we got Turkish Lira, to be honest we should just have brought Euros as that's what they all prefer in the spa/shops and everything priced in Euros or US Dollars. Would we come back? Absolutely 100%. Maybe not summer as too hot for us Scottish mountain dwellers but we're already looking at potentially the October holidays this year or next Easter.

The hotel was very nice, they had a wide variety of facilities available for guests to do, as well as a lot of restaurants. I really like that a WhatsApp group is created for you with the guest relations team, you can ask loads of questions and get very prompt answers. Never experienced that before so it was a valuable addition to the enjoyment of our holiday. I was in a chat with Bilal and Ebru and they were both very attentive to our needs and provided daily itineraries for us every morning so we knew exactly what was going on at the hotel. The land of legend access was another great addition as well, just wish we had the option to stay longer so that we could experience ALL of the area had to offer (pick up was at 4:30pm and the pretty lights come on in the evening in the shopping centre giving a completely different vibe).

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for choosing to make Rixos Premium Tekirova your home during your vacation time! I am so happy to know that you enjoyed your time with us. I am very happy to hear that you were satisfied with trip to The Land of Legends and your holiday assistants Bilal and Ebru. Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback regarding our team, it really means the world to us! We truly appreciate you taking the time to post this fantastic review and our entire team will be looking forward to your next visit. Sincerely, Tahir Altınkaya General Manager

Amazing trip! From start to finish. Before we even arrived I was added to a what’s app group by amazing reps Merve İmiroğlu and Yagmur Kayacan. They done all pre arrival checks before you land in Turkey. They are so welcoming and helpful with any questions you need to ask before arriving at the hotel. We booked a private transfer from the airport as normal transfer with holiday provider takes around two hours to get to the hotel. Our private transfer took 55 minutes and it was all to our self’s in a lovely taxi with TVs to play YouTube and mini fridge. So was a great start our holiday. We arrived at the hotel around 6pm and check in straight away, you are sat down at the bar with a welcome drink while reception deals with your passports and check in. We was then taken to our room which our reps decorated lovely with love heart balloons for our anniversary, there was fruit platters, bottle of champagne the lot. Our reps did go the full length and couldn’t thank the enough. There are seven restaurants in the hotels, five al a cart and two Buffett restaurants. Unfortunately you can only pick two of the Al a cart restaurants which I think was a bit bad and you had to also pay for one of them which was the seafood restaurant. We picked Italian for our first night on our anniversary and again our reps arrange our table to be decorated with petals and lovely candles which again was amazing. The food was lovely at the Italian! On our last night we picked the Chinese and I’ll definitely say that was the best restaurant and food we had in that 7 days we was at the hotel. The buffet restaurant which is the main one for breakfast, lunch and dinner serves okay food, it’s not rubbish or bad it just plain and most days is the same food. It was just annoying we could only pick two of the Al a cart restaurants. There was 24/7 restaurant called the peoples which you can get food at any time and it’s full cooked restaurant where you sit down and order which is great. The hotel it self is one of the best I’ve stayed it, there plenty to do in terms of activities, such as football, tennis, volleyball, water polo the list goes on. While your at the hotel the what’s app group you are in with the reps is updated daily, they send you good morning texts with the days activity’s with times and places, so again this is a great touch by the reps. There is even a farm at the hotel just behind the water park. The water park is perfect and unfortunately only open for 4 hours a day, from 10:00 to 12:00 and then 2:00 till 4:00 and the best ride was only open from 3:00 till 4:00 and some days wasn’t even open. They have a massive kids park and play area with rock climbing and go ape style adventure, unfortunately we don’t have kids but this would have been perfect for them. The pools at the hotel are massive, you have only fresh water and one heated perfect for the early morning dips. You have waiters on rollerblades attending to all your needs for drinks and snacks. There is unlimited starbarks as also which is a great touch by the hotel. The hotel dose have a pier but unfortunately was closed for repairs when we was there and opened on our last full day so lucky we got a bed on the pier and we was gutted as we really like the Maldives style beds on the pier it was so lovely. So we wished it was open the whole time we was there. Overal the hotel is lovely, the staff is amazing and especially our favourite bartender Furkan over at the lotus bar, he was so welcoming to us and loved a chat! He made amazing cocktails and did little shows for us with fire and bottles! He honestly was the best! Definitely recommend this hotel, there was no rush to put towels down in the morning, we would normally go down around 9am and there was still loads of beds left, maybe because we went during April. Weather was lovely hitting 28/29 most days. Trip to the land of legends was really good, transfer is free and included by the hotel. It is an hour and half drive though so be prepared, you can take as much water as you want into the park but no food or fizzy drinks. The park it self is massive but realistically only has three rollercoaster and couple small rides, and the rest is a water park. It is really good and we waited less than 5 mins for each ride, again probably due to the time we went in April. We really enjoyed it but it not something I would pay for if we had to as due to the amount of things to do. Only thing I say try to avoid it the yellow taxis in Turkey, especially outside the hotel entrance, we got a taxi into Kemar city 20 minutes away and the driver said it was about 800 Turkish lire (£20) upon dropping us off the driver said he will wait here for us and drop us back. We was advised not to let them wait as they charge you a waiting fee. So I said no and gave him 800 TL which he refused and said no I’ll or give me £25 or € $ which I didn’t have only Turkish Lire. It was back and fourth until I got out the taxi and said I’ll pay your boss out side our hotel as that’s where there office is, so the taxi driver gave me his taxi number so I could pay. We walked around the town and then got another taxi back to the hotel. Which was fine, until payment again , the driver didn’t want Turkish money and constantly requested £€$ again which I didn’t have, he then said okay give me 800 Turkish lire and was sorted. We got out the taxi and less then seconds later the other driver from earlier came over shouting and screaming saying I waited hours for you and you never turned up you owe me €1000, I laughed and said you are not getting anything, I told you not to wait, you refused your own currency end off. I said I’ll pay your boss (he wasn’t there) I then spoken to the hotel security who spoke amazing English and help us talk to the driver. In the end I gave him 800 Turkish lire (£20) and said that’s all your getting, and walked into the hotel. The taxis are not allowed into the hotel unless they are dropping off, the driver was shouting and the security guard while we walked into the hotel. The next day I went for a run and saw the security guard and spoke to him, he said this happens all the time. Taxi drivers try to scam tourist out of money with this waiting fee and if you don’t get back in there taxi they make up prices. Overall definitely recommend staying at the Rixos premium tekirova. Lovely stay, rooms are massive and very modern. Staff for above and beyond for you! Especially the reps so thank you two you both Merve İmiroğlu and Yagmur Kayacan.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your great review! I'm delighted you and your family were able to experience Rixos Premium Tekirova hotel. I am so happy they made such an indelible mark on your visit and can't wait to share the feedback with them directly.
