We decided to book Raffles Al Al Areen after a quick search for hotels to spend my husband birthdays. I was simply looking for a place to spend a day with bundle of joy, and I was sure that this spot is an ideal destination for our special occasion. The staff was very supportive starting from reservation and special thanks to Mr. Mukesh for offering us the best deal with best treats and special thanks to the F&B team to make this day memorable. Aside from the great room, fabulous staff and wonderful food. Great palm trees around.. all what I can say (It was such a wonderful night that me and my husband will never forget) I would not hesitate in coming back to this resort hotel. .. special thanks to the chef and his assistant

Booked two bedrooms villa. It was very beautiful and had an amazing time. We ordered the breakfast to the room, it has an additional charges. The food was good, but portion was not as rich as expected it to be and not so fulfilling. We had to request for more food.

7 of us went to Areen few weeks ago and it was the perfect getaway in the 3-room villa. We arrived very late at night on Day 1, greeted by Sanjay who welcomed us warmly and escorted us to our rooms and gave us a tour of fhe place despite the late night. There was a minor hiccup with requesting an extra bed for the 7th person. However, the issue was resolved quickly and Moataz the reception Manager went out of his way to ensure that the rest of our trip was smooth and perfect. Baderia was our assigned help from the Butler service and she was an absolute pleasure. The spa services were also spectacular, and the staff were experienced professionals with wonderful personalities. Thank you Moataz and the team for making our stay amazing.

I have stayed in many of the best hotels in the world. Indeed, I have read many of the reviews of those same hotels and found my experience comparatively wanting. Not here. My wife and I booked this hotel as we are familiar with Raffles London and I have stayed in Singapore a couple of times. We had read a few reviews and done some research but this initial research was eclipsed by the experience we had. The Room The room was wonderfully curated with a massive private pool, great interior design and two separate rooms, a dining room and a majlis away from the main living space. With an outdoor cabana, sun loungers and dining table, the room is easily on a par with other 5 star hotels which offer villa style accommodation. Their standard room clearly surpasses the standard of anything other than a suite in a "normal" hotel. A particularly nice touch are the aromatherapy machines they put in each room which offer different scents for day, evening and sleep. We have bought one for our return home. The Service The staff are simply some of the best in the world. The butler service is a real butler service like that of the Savoy or Claridges and not a glorified room service person (like most of the hotels we have stayed in which offer this service). Karen our butler accommodated our every whim (including taking care of a tummy upset I acquired with fresh ginger and lemon tea). The waiting staff in Al Palma were similarly exceptional, remembering our normal order for breakfast each day and always friendly, happy to help and speak to us about local recommendations or what to do. Bahrain isn't packed with things to see, this was fine for us as we wanted a relaxing holiday but I mentioned this to one of the waiters and they offered a cookery course with their exceptional pastry chef (patisserie is as good as you'd have in Paris) and a mocktail mixing course with their head barman. Just one example of the personalised and attentive service this brilliant team offers. I was privileged to meet the exec chef and chat on several occasions. I also spent some time with the Guest Experience Manager, Aditya who was similarly incredible. Arranging little gifts and experiences throughout our stay. For Parents We travelled with our 4 month old who was welcomed and the staff fawned over. They provided a bottle warmer, crib and steriliser ahead of arrival. I mention this as I think it's so important for parents to know that these things aren't a problem and that you don't have to ship them in your luggage. They even bought our son some toys to take home when we left. They do not currently offer child minding or babysitting services though, fine for us but something to consider. Other things to know Definitely have the BBQ in your villa, it's brilliant and an experience not to be missed. I would have liked to try the floating breakfast too but we couldn't do it with a 4 month old. The kitchen is full of experienced chefs who can cook all cuisines, so please ask them and they will make arrangements for you off menu (they cooked me a pizza one day on request). I don't usually write reviews so I hope this is useful to you. Whilst it may read like a promotion, important to state we were fully paid guests and haven't received any inducement to write this review other than exceptional service from an amazing hotel.

We were there as part of business 3 day meeting. Kishor was the best he was tentative, caring, always available for support. With any shortage he would address immediately. He single handedly taken care of over 30 individuals. I hope he is still here in a few months when we are back.
