We arrived early, and were wondering if we could get early check in. Francisco and Emily were SO kind and accommodating. Truly, they made the check in process such a breeze. The room itself is wonderful and has already made my trip here so exciting.

Fatima at the front desk was phenomenal, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Love the boutique atmosphere. The museum was a lovely touch. Clean and warm environment. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the stay.

Fatima was the best! Very helpful and knowledgeable!! The hotel was in a great location as well! A lot of bars around to explore around within a walking distance. Me and my friends had a great time staying at this hotel. Definitely will be back soon!

A mixed bag. PROS Francisco at the front desk is a customer service star. Art gallery is an absolute pleasure. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Location is ideal. Shower is strong, a rarity for a rainfall shower head. Beds are comfortable. Robes are thick and wonderfully soft. CONS Weekend party hotel—the lobby, second floor and upstairs corridors are packed with drunk, shrieking 20-somethings. Management made no effort to control the disturbances as far as I could tell, and in any case they can’t be everywhere at once. It appears this is a regular occurrence. Declining to book the second floor space to groups that are obviously going to be loud drinkers is the answer, unless 21C values that revenue over booking rooms to other people. Better stay elsewhere on weekends. Even without the weekend screamers, this is an older building and sound really travels. You’ll hear doors slamming all the time and the walls will shake. If you stay near the elevators, you’ll hear a constant booming and thudding sound. Lots of things in the room didn’t work or were poorly designed. There was no place at bedside to charge electronics (yes, I checked the bottom of the headboard like another reviewer suggested—mine had no port or outlet), and the closest plug was pretty far away. I had to leave my cpap machine and phone lying on the floor (gross) a ways from the bed. Most lamps kept blinking ominously, even after I tightened bulbs. The only towel bars in the bathroom were a hand towel-sized one and the rack under the sink—there was really no place to hang a bath towel. The tub weirdly had a shower curtain despite having no shower function (the shower stall was separate). You must ask to have your room refreshed or housekeeping won’t come—this is fine, but they need to tell people that up front.

Staff was very helpful (looking at you Francisco), room was comfortable, and of course the art made the experience so much better than a normie hotel. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced. Espresso, not bad pods, in the rooms. Why stay in a bland place?
