Sleepless in Chicago

The C21 Chicago would be a good hotel except that nothing is good without sleep. The roar of wannabe race cars on Rush Street shakes the lower floors of this hotel. Not sure if revving on Rush Street is an every night thing, but it's constant late into some nights, that's for sure. It's loud enough that iphone white noise at full blast can't drown it out. Headphones required. If you can get a top floor, maybe you'll be OK. But there are many quieter hotels, and if you need to sleep, I'd find one. It's too bad the street racers are ruining the peace of the C21 Chicago, but it is also unscrupulous for this hotel not to warn guests in advance that their lower floors (at least) sound more like a racetrack than a sleeping space.

The room is simple amazing, very cozy and comfortable. The staff is really kind and the hotel’s location is convenient to wherever you need to go, close to the main stores, restaurants, attractions and bus/subway stations. We loved and hope to came back soon.

Great customer service! Very friendly staff! Our room/suite was really nice (quiet)...hotel was very clean and great location. W came up for a Cubs game and Johnson, one of the managers was so helpful and engaging! Emily checked us in and was helpful too.

I loved their bedding/sheets. My room was a good size and well laid out. I was lucky to get a high floor room (requested) but the view was just ok. Air conditioner did not work the first night, but magically worked the second day before I reported it. The real problem with the hotel is that for 250+ rooms they only have 2 elevators. It's just not enough... which I was thinking BEFORE the 2nd elevator went out. All staff was thoughtful and polite.
