We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our beautiful property, spacious rooms, and excellent restaurant and bar facilities. It is wonderful to know that the stunning views from your balcony, along with our pools, golf course, and tennis courts, contributed to a memorable and relaxing holiday. We appreciate your feedback regarding the kitchen appliances and security gate process. Originally, the property was designed as holiday apartments, but it was later converted into a hotel operation. As part of this transition and following the Grading Council of South Africa’s requirements, self-catering facilities are no longer offered due to health and safety considerations. We value your insights and will continue to assess ways to enhance the overall guest experience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the availability of pool towels. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we are addressing the issue to ensure a smoother and more efficient process for all our guests in the future. Despite these challenges, we are delighted that you had an enjoyable stay and would both return and recommend our hotel. Dear ivory321 I am delighted to have received your detailed review. Guest feedback is of utmost importance as it is our guide to see where we are, what we could do better and obviously a motivational and training tool for our team. I am pleased that you had a relaxing stay and that we have on most occasions, exceeded and met your expectations. I am grateful that you mentioned the Housekeepi9ng staff need a refresher on entering of rooms. I have personally done the refresher course with them and reminded them of the standard operating procedures with regards to guest room entry, to safeguard the guests and the team and to do so with respect. I sincerely apologise for the two restaurants that did not exceed your expectations. I have discussed this with the owners of the two restaurants, which Pearl Valley Hotel uses on an outsourced basis. Guests are not aware that none of the facilities, except for the pool at the hotel, is owned and operated by a variety of other owners. Our guests make use of the facilities; thus, they see the facilities as owned and operated by Mantis. I can however guarantee you that I take immediate action if there were any mentions of poor service or lack of good food. Thank you for still providing us with a great score. I will keep on pushing to ensure my team and I are able to aim higher and higher and exceed all expectations from our valuable guests. Keep travelling and please do so safely Happy New Year!
