Fairmont Mara Safari Club 5 星

This Safari club exceeded my expectations. While the trip from the North airstrip took over an hour ( temporary until the local strip is repaired), it was well worth it and acted as a prelude to Maasai culture and some animal viewing. Reception was exceptional, and service overall was superb. You have a valet assigned, and the same staff member attended me at all 6 meals I had there. Leboo (Patrick) is still in training but showed maturity and customer anticipation that was greatly appreciated, always aiming to please. The 37 tents all face the river and are remarkably comfortable and well appointed. The turn-down service is particularly special; I won’t ruin the surprise. The food was sensational with complements from their own herb garden (Get a tour!). The best part was my driving time with Johnathan, who has only been there a month but has 25 years experience. During 4 drives he was able to locate all the animals I hoped to see and has great depth in his understanding of each species’ habits. Ask him anything! The setting is so serene and just plain magical with so many animals free yet content to stay in that location as they are treated so respectfully. Do not miss the rhinos in the Conservancy. And look all along the fence overlooking the Mara River near the lodge; you will surely see your fill of hippos and crocs. Even the swimming pool is nice, though a bit chilly; still swimmable. I can’t say I was disappointed with anything about the lodge itself. However, sleeping in tents, some guests are clueless of how their voices carry, especially at night. A sign in each room advising quiet voices after dark might help. You will fall in love with this place and its dedicated staff.

My third time staying here. It was a perfect stay from start to finish. I love this place. The staff are amazing, friendly helpful happy, they catered to our group of 8. There was a table for us at every meal, they greeted us and made us felt special. The food was great, i just can't say enough about this place, truly a home away from home. thank you thank you. very comfortable tents with all the comforts of home, amazing views over the river. expertly kept manicured grounds, nice and quiet for sleeping, expect for the animals but hey we are roughing it. excellent excellent!!!!

I’ve stayed at 22 Fairmonts around the world, and Fairmont Mara Safari Club is hands down my favourite. This property is something truly special. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel cared for, welcomed, and genuinely spoiled. They have a way of making special happen. A heartfelt shout out to our guide, Lekoko, whose knowledge and passion made every game drive unforgettable, and to Moses, our wonderful server who took such great care of us throughout our stay. The facilities and grounds are beautiful with so many unique touches. The game drives were beyond incredible. We saw so much wildlife in such stunning settings. Moments we’ll replay in our minds for the rest of our lives. The Maasai Mara is truly magical. We also loved the spa, the peaceful hippo corner, and the view of the river right from the property. It’s such a serene and relaxing place to unwind between adventures. The food was excellent, and housekeeping was consistently on point. Everything exceeded our expectations. I’ll be telling everyone about this place, and I already find myself dreaming of returning. Absolutely the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Our safari drives were absolutely incredible, Dominic was knowledgeable about all the animals, plants, and landscape. He was dedicate to ensuring we had an optimal experience, we loved every minute! Safariing with him was a highlight. The resort was clean and peaceful with some added touches such as warmed beds at night.

Had a wonderful stay. Food and service was great and the tents were luxurious. Highlight of the trip was obviously the safari drives, Dominic was the BEST guide. Knowledgeable, kind and very generous with his personal experiences around the Mara. Highly suggest requesting him as your guide, you will have the best experience! Thanks Dominic! Mich
