Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted by the receptionist Felipe who informed me that breakfast was included in the reservation. when I went to have breakfast they informed me that in fact breakfast was not included and that I should pay immediately. This caused embarrassment. Even though he had difficulty speaking English, this misinformation caused me problems. his service was terrible

This is a perfectly okay hotel recently well situated in a pretty safe area of Rio. It falls down in a number of areas non critical perhaps still taking away from the enjoyment and appreciation one might have. The bar and lounge area are very small poorly attended and very badly stocked. This means the to get a beer or a coffee or a drink after work you are taking pot look. Of course there are plenty of restaurants etc including some nearby but sometimes it's nice to be able to get something sitting in the lounge of the hotel. A little bit of investment into a proper bar set up properly staffed and stocked would play dividends as would increasing the amount of seating and its quality. There is no spa , any form of beauty or relaxation treatment. The breakfast was okay but the number of coffee machines is grossly inadequate for the number of people at peak hours. Positive side the staff were courteous and helpful and pleasant throughout the hotel was reasonably clean although it could do as little bit of freshening up and it generally felt safe

Denied check-in and they kept my money

My worst hotel experience. My wife and I were denied check-in because I didn't have my physical passport since I traveled from another city. I have a driver's license and a photo of my passport which was enough to check into this hotel's sister hotel down the street and everywhere else we've stayed in Brazil.. I asked to speak with a manager after being denied and he only sent an employee to confirm it was a no instead of discussing the matter with me. I asked for a refund and was told they would tell the website we booked through that we weren't able to check in and we would get the refund. We were just told by the website after multiple attempts to contact the hotel, the hotel refused to refund the room that we paid for in full and were allowed to sleep in. A total nightmare.

Dear Guest, As previously answered in other reviews, we reiterate that we only follow Brazilian federal laws that require the presentation of an original Brazilian document with photo or original passport. Regarding your refund, we cannot even deny it as we did not receive any amount as the accommodation did not occur. 立地だけでなく、スタッフの気配りも素晴らしいホテル。特に朝食レストランのスタッフは抜群の気配りをしてくれました。本当に感謝しています。ただ、部屋に水が置いてないのと、部屋でWi-Fiがあまり使えなかったこと、それからトイレのプライバシーがあまりない設計は残念でした。それ以外は大満足!次回もこちらに滞在します。ありがとうございました!
