I recently stayed at Novotel guwahati and attended an event there. The hotel maintains excellent cleanliness throughout. Washroom hygiene and room cleaning were outstanding, and guest amenities were more than sufficient and well replenished . Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay .

Dear Novotel Team, I stayed with my family at Novotel Guwahati from 28th November to 30th November. I have no complaints regarding the rooms or the overall ambience — those were satisfactory. However, I am extremely disappointed with the breakfast service on the morning of 30th November. We placed our order and waited 45–50 minutes, yet the food never arrived. The staff appeared understaffed, confused, and unable to handle the situation. When we approached the Manager, her response was even more concerning. She behaved as if she did not care at all about the issue, and the same indifferent attitude was reflected in her staff. It is unacceptable for a hotel positioning itself as a 5-star property to take orders, fail to deliver, and then show no sense of responsibility or courtesy. We are paying extra for food and expecting at least basic service and professionalism — neither of which was met. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and corrective action is implemented so that future guests do not face the same disappointment. Regards, J C Momin

What you described falls far short of the standards we commit to at Novotel, and I fully understand how frustrating and disappointing it must have been for you and your family—especially during what should have been a relaxed morning. Waiting 45–50 minutes without receiving your order is simply not acceptable, and I sincerely apologize for this lapse. Your experience with our team and the Manager is even more concerning. Indifference or lack of responsibility from any of our staff is not something we tolerate. You deserved prompt service, clear communication, and attentive support—none of which were provided, and for that, I offer my sincere apologies. Please be assured that your feedback is being taken very seriously. We have already initiated a review of: Staffing levels during peak breakfast hours, Order management procedures, And most importantly, the behavioral and service expectations we hold for all team members, including supervisors and managers. This is not the experience we want our guests to have, and we are committed to ensuring that such incidents are corrected immediately and do not repeat themselves. At Novotel, we strive to ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience for all the right reasons, and I am deeply sorry that we failed to meet that promise for you. If you would consider giving us another opportunity in the future, I would personally ensure that your stay is handled with the care, professionalism, and warmth you rightfully expected this time.
