Location: it can't be better. in the middle of the city center. The Old Town in less than 10 minutes walk. The large Origa shopping center next door that is connected to the Riga main train station. Room: we were given a large, corner deluxe room with windows on two sides. The room had a bluetooth speaker, but without power supply. Notified front desk, nothing done. Standing lamp had 3 of its 4 lightbulbs dead, also notified front desk, no action. Bathroom is rather dark. Shower in the bathtub, dangerous to step in and out. Provided water in glass bottle. They say the tap water was good to drink. Service: friendly, but they didn't solve most of our complaints. They only do room cleaning every other day. We weren't informed, but when we requested they did the cleaning. Fitness center: open 24 hour, but it's a mess of old, squeaky and unusable equipment. reported to front desk, no action, decided not to use it for the rest of our stay. Breakfast: enough options, but mostly tasteless and uninspiring. On our second day, the milk tasted weird. Reported, and no more milk after that. Scrambled eggs was too dry. There are 3 coffee machines, but none worked properly. Either lack of milk or not working at all. On the positive note, the cakes are lovely! Amenities: there's a bar in the lobby. The lobby is small. Easily gets cramped when group comes for check-in.

Please allow us to clarify that, upon receiving your notification regarding the lamp and speaker, our technician did visit the room and personally checked the equipment. All lightbulbs were functioning at the time of inspection, and the Bluetooth speaker was also confirmed to be operational. Regarding room cleaning, our hotel operates under the “Go Green – Skip the Clean” initiative, which encourages sustainability. However, we always offer housekeeping services upon request, and we’re pleased this was provided once requested. Your comments regarding the breakfast quality and the fitness area have been duly noted and passed to the relevant departments for internal review. We are continuously working to improve the guest experience, and your feedback helps us identify areas for development. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future, providing a more seamless and enjoyable experience.
