Foods were terrible ,the restaurant was fully booking ,so the manager asked we can order the foods and send them to our rooms ,when the foods came in ,it made a wrong dish also the steak and the chicken are super hard ,just like a rock ,and the drink was wrong as well. Then we made a complaint ,and the manager came in and checked ,he said that is not acceptable too ,he promised us will waive our bill and make a new one and put us order on the first ,unfortunately ,we still wait one and half hour ,and the food still over cooked.Finally we just throw them to the bin. When we check out on the last day , the front desk still charge us the food bill ,then I told her the story again, after that ,she was asking me three time to confirm "Is the manager said waive for the whole bill and all the foods were bad??" I would say this is uncomfortable feeling. On the second day when we back to our room ,my friend found out someone used her NEW face cream and put the finger inside the cream ,and also her travel bag was opened.Then we made a complaint asap ,they said will call back to us on next day ,however ,nobody call back on the next day.We told the story to the front desk when we check out ,the lady also promised us will give us an answer at the next day ,and we still got no answer till now ,it 's been four days already. I won't recommend people come to visit for this price of room with terrible food and unsafely stay ,and all the promise just a lie.
A sad, slow decline

Having visited many times previously and with COVID restricting our choices we opted for Pullman Bunker Bay as a triple birthday celebration trip. Firstly.... WOW post COVID they bumped the price to $800 per night......never worth it even at the height of its appeal but the sad slow decline of the resort with broken furniture and the once excellent breakfast now nothing more than a mediocre buffet never worth the cost. However, Bunker Bay itself is a truly spectacular location and this is how the resort generates interest. As an ACCOR Gold member for many years, I know how good ACCOR can be outside of Australia and recently they have been flooding my inbox with updates on their cleanliness and extra precautions. On arrival our villa was sealed with a cleanliness tab but on opening the door it was immediately apparent the place was not clean. Their was food on the floor, pubic hair in the bathroom, slinks not cleaned....$800 per night remember and FULLY BOOKED so no chance of an alternate room. I asked for an antipasto upgrade, which was confirmed by email. No sign of it on arrival. When asking reception they stated they had no knowledge of this despite the email from reception to me and a confirmation number. On check out my total bill was some $80 that it should have been with no explanation, no detailed invoice. Added to this, as a member you receive discount on your restaurant bills....however, due to functions every night, the restaurant was a third of its normal size and we were unable to book a table for the entire stay which meant traveling in to Dunsborough each day. I am posting this as despite asking for feedback, which I have provided with 16 photos of the villa and a screenshot of my original cost ACCOR have not even bothered to reply. The truth is, this was once a lovely resort at a beautiful location but the steady decline means they are trading solely on their location and coupled with the price hike and lack of interest in feedback from long time clients / members means this place is done.

I didn't want to return to Perth after enjoying a short break at Pullman Bunker Bay Resort! We chose a one-bedroom lake view villa for two nights, all very well appointed, quiet and comfortable, with plenty of birdlife on the lake during the day, accompanied by a cacophony of frog sounds during the nocturnal hours, and the stunning Bunker Bay Beach only a short stroll away. We dined at the Other Side of the Moon on-site restaurant for breakfast (twice) - a fantastic buffet with ample choice and all very fresh, and for dinner (once) - a la carte and very good. The service from all staff was friendly and efficient. Would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay here as the facilities are very good and it is an excellent location for exploring the region. Great staff and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Love the breakfast choices and range.

Luxurious cabin suite in a bush setting next to a lake. Difficult to get to sleep due to noise of frogs and other insects next to the lake. Lots of walking from cabin to main building with superb restaurant.
