I totally agree with Jane, and have to add one thing I can't quite believe. We ordered room service on the last night of a three night stay. It was delivered in a take away box! Never have we experienced that before. It was a waygu burger, but still - really? A box! No cutlery, no serviettes, no tomato sauce which my husband had specifically requested. This is a 5 star resort?? We have been coming here since it's opening 21 years ago, but will not be returning. One last gripe...paying 3 times bottle shop prices for wine is a bit excessive.

We have stayed many times at this resort and the last few times its been so disappointing the last visit was no exception. My partner is an Accor gold member so we were upgraded to a two bedroom two bathroom villa. There was only two of us and the upgrade is always appreciated. The villa was large but in a need of a refresh. The mattress and pillows were rock hard so it was very hard to sleep. The coffee maker was incredibly dirty the milk frother absolutely stank of off milk so definitely had not been cleaned properly. Housekeeping came late every day or we found extra things in our room that we never asked for like robes. We gather they were delivered to the wrong room. The lighting at night outside along the path didnt work and it was extremely dark and dangerous. We had to use our torches on our phones to walk up to the restaurant for dinner. They do supply a torch in the room but this wasnt working I gather the battery was flat. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. But some of the restaurant staff were rude and one actually yelled at me to sign for the bill as I was leaving the table. My partner was already paying the bill at the cash register as being an Accor member he gets a discount. Service at the bar was slow and I did feel sorry for the barman as he was the only staff on and he was run of his feet. The food from Other Side of The Moon was very good. Breakfast was okay and its nice to see they have egg dishes that you can order freshly cooked. All in all it was a very disappointing stay. Will we stay here again… to be honest Im not really sure.

After reading reviews before our 3night stay here we weren’t sure what to expect. What I can say is we were pleasantly surprised. The studio room was large, modern with everything you could need. A HUGE bathroom and extremely quiet at night. The hotel surrounds are beautiful and secluded and the short walk to the beach was a bonus. Bunker bay beach itself is beautiful and although too cold for me to swim it was extremely calm and appealing. We would also highly recommend the spa on site, we did a couples package and it was lovely. The small downside to us was the “heated” pool which really is not hot enough going into winter and the bed was a little hard. We would still highly recommend staying here

I was thoroughly impressed with the service. The Pullman staff were outstanding—nothing was too much trouble. The conference room was ideal for our event, and we received excellent support from the function organizers throughout. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and beautifully presented.

Could have been so much better

Stayed 5D/4N with my family. Key takeaways: 1. Positives: a) Property and the rooms are spacious b) The overall layout is pleasant with lots of greenery as well as birds/ducks etc 2. Negatives: The main issue was he overall service standards were very average. some instances a) The folks at the breakfast area were not helpful at all and required repeated reminders on orders and it almost felt that they were just doing their job mechanically...zero motivation b) The landline in our room was not repaired during the entire course of our stay. It almost felt like a ritual of some sort/joke to remind the reception every morning about it and in the end they would just acknowledge but still not repair it. This was highly inconvenient to my family as our room was a good 500m away from reception so i had to cover myself up (quite chilly at times), walk 1km (both ways) just to order a dental kit, or a blanket or a buggy. All they did was blame Telstra but no solutions were offered! maybe a walkie talkie, or a whatsapp line? nothing! there was no way i was going to use my Singapore number to order a toothbrush! c) Housekeeping was restricted to laying the bed, changing the towels and emptying the trash bins. There is no way the staff actually cleaned the floor or vacuumed the carpets since the dirt and stains were constant during our entire stay Conclusion: This property has all the "hardware" to be a top resort especially with the limited competition. All they needed to do was to fix the "software" that runs the place i.e service standards. Fortunately this is a relatively easier fix but i notice that the management was refused to do anything except pay lip service to the many similar reviews posted in the past. I am sure my post would have a standard cookie cutter response of how service standards are valued at Pullman and this feedback will be shared etc.....Wish they genuinely do what is required to fix the place
