We recently had my brother-in-law’s wake at The Grange, and I just wanted to say how grateful we are. We used the Chestnut Room for our group of 20 people, and it was just the right size for us to all be together comfortably. The food was excellent, and you could tell so much thought had gone into it. The way everything was laid out on the table was so carefully done and looked lovely. A special thank you to Ella for all her pre-event planning suggestions and to all the staff who cooked the buffet and looked after us during the afternoon. They were so attentive and really made sure we had everything we needed. The whole experience was excellent, and we are so glad we chose The Grange for the event. Thanks to the whole team!

New Year Eve party and overnight stay.

Four of us booked a package deal of New Years Eve party and overnight stay, The Privilege rooms were very large and well furnished. The evening meal was very good indeed with great Service and food of good quality. After the three course meal and coffee they brought a range of cheese and biscuits and chocolates and Turkish delight. Can I mention the DJ and the Singer, they were absolutely Brilliant ! They read the mood perfectly and played and sang some great music and really made a terrific evening. Lastly, after a good nights sleep we had a very varied and excellent breakfast. I cannot praise the Staff enough they did a great job and we had a very memorable time. Without doubt we will consider a similar experience next year.

Twixtmas break here, all good, the receptionist on arrival was most welcoming and helpful, the room was well appointed, but a little tired, usual hotel needs a bit of a facelift, but times have been tough since Covid situation, but all clean, and free parking, lovely quiet location, with beautiful grounds and nice staff. Can't comment on dinner as we arrived late after visiting in laws, but breakfast was good, with a smiley young lady who seems to cope with it all very efficiently. We will return to this hotel, as better than the modern brick boxes nearer the motorway.

The staff here are great and very fair. The building and grounds are stunning and it’s a convenient location with good food. The rooms are spacey but, like the corridors, are beginning to look tired.
