The grange hotel was surprisingly warm welcoming. The room and hotel was a little tired in respect to paint work, chips etc all around, but the public areas were inviting. The lounge was lovely and the restaurant/breakfast area had lovely views of the grounds In the room, it was clean, we had a small selection of coffee n tea with the normal milk.. the bed was large and very comfortable.. we had a great nights sleep. We also dined in the evening which was a lovely meal.. thanks for the extra Gravy.. it was a delicious meal. Breakfast was truly the highlight.. everything was tasty, option of bread, toast and also option of eggs. Fried, poached, scrambled or fried.. all cooked to perfection.. Overall a lovely stay, lovely food, comfy stay and close to the M4/M5…

We stay at this hotel every year for seasonal work. Staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful. Being nightshift workers makes us a bit of a nuisance but they still manage to service rooms and accept deliveries for us etc. I had a number of parcels delivered during this stay which staff accepted for me which was helpful. Lily at front desk was particularly cheerful and helpful everytime I saw her.

From driving up to the hotel we felt happy and looking forward to our stay. The reception staff welcoming us and water and juice station was a lovely warm welcome. Our four poster bed room was lovely and the ever important coffee machine. Our drinks in the lounge and friendly bar man to our evening meal was a perfect way to start our holiday. However, I am definitely a breakfast person and it definitely put a smile on my face because there was lots of fruit, smoothie breakfast pots, and friendly service. Thank you. I love all the colours.

I came here with my mum, when she was visiting me at university. It is such an amazing place inside and outside with the most lovely staff. The rooms were very nice, we had two twin beds, the only issues we had with them were, the lights in the room. The two main lights were so bright that it gave us a headache most of the time, but to have them off meant we could barely see what we were doing. It would have been nicer to have two lamps on the bedside tables as well as plug sockets by the bed. The WIFI in the room was terrible and barely reached us. In the morning we had the breakfast buffet, the food was amazing and up to all the standards and expectations we had. There was a mix of hot food, such as hashbrowns, eggs, beans etc. A range of fruits, pastries, bread/toast, yogurts and cereals. There was however only one coffee machine for all of the guests, which meant there was quite a que and it took a while for the machine to work. There were also many places for us to sit down and chill if we wanted, the bathroom was very chill and lovely and the room itself had a lot of storage space if we needed it. Overall our stay was quite pleasant, the only changes and issues we had were in the bedroom area.
