A well situated hotel for a city break

We stayed here for two nights before embarking on a cruise. Our room was on the seventh floor at the front of the hotel. The hotel is well situated to access tourist attractions such as the obelisk and Teatro Colon opera house, and there were numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was clean and there was a good choice of food for breakfast. There was some waiting around for things to be replenished, particularly at busy times. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night when the street was vibrant and lively in the evenings, with lots of street entertainers and buskers entertaining the crowds. There was a nice vibe, with lots of people enjoying themselves. It was, however, noisy at the front of the hotel until the early hours. We had dinner at the hotel and there was a good menu to choose from with a number of vegetarian choices. We really enjoyed the meal. The outdoor swimming pool is nice and we found the reception staff helpful. It was really busy when we checked out, with lots of people waiting for transfers to the cruise ship at the same time. With one of the three lifts being out of action it was quite chaotic and frustrating to get the cases down to reception. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Nice hotel though a little old. Great breakfast with good foods and fruits Located on a busy street , convenient location to tourist sites, lots of restaurants nearby. but some noise in night Very safe.

A modern hotel in a great central location, just a short walk from the Obelisk. The rooms are of a good standard and well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, and a safe. There are plenty of light switches in the room, which take a little time to figure out. Offering a buffet style breakfast. One of the highlights is the excellent outdoor area, featuring a pleasant pool that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel is very well located at a 5 minutes from the obelisk and walking to distance to many places like Teatro Colon and San Telmo. The rooms also, although small, they are newly furnished with a modern style. I requested my room to be upgraded as an Accor platinum member but I was told the hotel was full. It was a disappointment since even if full, other accor hotels made efforts to upgrade my room register ming my request and calling me to change to a better room during my stay. The restaurant also offers delicious meals which I liked. The breakfast however was not up to my expectations. No cappuccino machine and the omelette was not that good. There weren’t also many choices of vegetables (no carrots, no tomatoes…etc.) The staff are friendly professional, and very helpful. The only serious issues I encountered was the hygiene. The first night I found hair on the towels as well on the bed. The next days I found living bugs in the cookies box I was offered as Elite member gift. That was shocking. And luckily I checked the box before eating. I believe that was a serious issue and absolutely not acceptable. Especially given the fact I paid double to regular fee (the hotel was fully booked so the remaining rooms were at double rate). If I see such issues in Novotel then what is the point of me staying in brand hotels as these things are regular in cheap hotels.

Always a good stay.

All time that I go to Buenos Aires, I stay at Novotel. Good as always. Good Breakfast, Rooms and pool area.
