Its was a good size with all that you can need for a stay. It has a microwave, cafe (paid) and breakfast however it doesnt have a great variaty but it is correct. free parking and supermarkets in the nearby

Never got to stay as machine to pay wouldn’t work and manger on the phone was very rude We drove to this hotel and arrived tired around 23:30h We had a booking and had to pay via a machine as there was no one at the premises. It didn’t work we tried different credit cards but no joy so we called the telephone number got a helpful lady that tried to help but no joy, so she said she wold tell the manager to come. I called back after a few minutes to ask how long aprox, just to be told the manager was uninterested. I asked if I could speak directly to the manager and was given their number, i called just be told that their machine works fine, after explaining that we had tried 3 different credit cards from different people and banks i was then told the hotel is closed for me and was just hung up on Its not a 5 star establishment but some basic decency wouldn’t be bad but guess the manager just couldn’t be bothered to come out. It left us with no where to stay the night, so as you can imagen I would never ever recommend this place unless you want to be treated like dirt and left with nowhere to stay Saying this i have stayed at many ibis establishments and always been pleasantly surprised

Booked as a stopover on returning from Spain. As expected,rooms are basic but clean and comfortable bed.Good wi fi. Free parking right outside,easy to find on sat nav. Didn't have breakfast. Helpful staff at reception,when our next stopover had been changed by Ibis at last minute,issue resolved quickly. VFM,would use again and recommend.

We needed a hotel for a short stop over in Pau. Having recently used the Ibis Budget in Varades when we attended a friend's wedding, and being impressed with the hotel, we decided to book the Ibis Budget in Pau. The on-line booking and check in is easy to use. On both occasions our hotel room was very clean and provided exactly what we required. Staff were very pleasant and professional. We would recommend Ibis Budget without hesitation.

Arrived mid afternoon after a long drive from Rochefort and welcomed by a young lady with a smile. She spoke very good English which is a bonus for us as we speak little French. She was very helpful and explained everything . Breakfast good and value for money. The room was adequate and clean. Location excellent for our journey south.
