Horrible traumatic racist hotel

What a horrible hotel. The lady at the reception, Aisha, along with the manager and other workers are absolutely racist. Please avoid this hotel if you’re black cause it will not be safe and you will be treated absolutely horrible. Room is dirty, a lot of stray cats, staff is rude, scary sounds in the night, just overall the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced

Very unhygienic food preparation with stray cats, birds, etc. all over the food. Staff are very unpleasant and rude. There are other hotels in Marrakech at a similar price point, it just makes so much more sense to stay at other establishments.

Me and my friend come to Marrakech regularly (once or twice every year) for both business and leisure, and stay at the Novotel in Hivernage. The hotel location is very good and situated amongst the best restaurants and bars Marrakech has to offer. The staff at the Novotel are also great and accommodating. One thing we were very disappointed and saddened by.... Novotel used to have an in-house barber called Sufiyan, who absolutely added to the overall experience here at the hotel. He is probably the best barber (and also the nicest person) we have come across... ever. And believe me, a lot of my friends are barbers, and I've visited more than my fair share. We have even recommended him to some of our friends in London, Paris and Marseille who visited him even if they didn't stay at the hotel. One of them ended up changing his booking from the Villas in Palmeraie to Novotel just so he could get a trim by Sufiyan on a daily basis!! I don't understand why he left or why Novotel have let him go, but it definitely isn't the same anymore... and anyone who has had their haircut done by Sufiyan, will tell you the same thing and I'll bet my next trip to Marrakech on it. What a shame..... I have to give Novotel only 4 stars out of 5. Bring him back Novotel, some of my male friends are saying to me that they're not staying there anymore. When it comes to looks, the hair and beard 'trim' is probably the most important thing for a man, understand this!!

Average hotel. Rooms and all areas were clean. Unfortunately the customer service let it down. No one seemed to be happy in their work. The bar staff were rude, restaurant very unorganised - you had to keep asking for things and dirty plates never cleared, reception not very accommodating. First room we were given we walked in and it hadn’t even been cleaned from last guests! Breakfast average.

The rooms were clean and the agents were at service. The breakfast was good and the Buffet was varied. At the night u can clearly get a calm sleep, just make sure to close the balcony‘s door and turn on the air conditioning because Marrakesh is really hot! I stayed only one night thats why my review won‘t be rich and full like my previous reviews
