We’ve just returned from a six night stay at Akagera game Lodge and I can’t praise it enough. The staff were so helpful, friendly and nothing was too much bother. The food in the restaurant was incredible and we enjoyed a brilliant game drive seeing so many animals. I would highly recommend.. The only drawback was that it is difficult to return to the hotel after 6 pm due to the park closing, you can apply for a park escort back to the hotel but this has a cost associated. This is a restriction by the park, not the hotel.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Akagera Game Lodge. We stayed in one of the family suites, which was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with spectacular views over Lake Ihema from the pool area. Meals were held either outdoors or indoors - all were buffet with a huge selection. On our last morning, they set up a "bush breakfast" for us on the lawn - - it was a great way to end our stay. All of the staff members we met were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience!

One of the best experiences I had in Rwanda after MANTIS Rusizi is Akagera game Lodge! The experience is epic, the atmosphere is so peaceful, the breeezeee My God 🥹😍! Now I want to Thank everyone at the reception, the bar and room service! Thank you Mantis! I loved everyone, I will definitely come back!
