Just arrived home from a week at Raffles on Meradhoo Island, what an amazing place words can’t describe how breathtaking everything is. It’s how l imagined a Tropical Island would like, but even better than my imagination could picture…….. From the moment we landed in Male after a long flight we were taken care of by Raffles Staff who took care of everything, to the connecting flight than the boat transfer, was a nice surprise and to make things even better they did the same on return, right to baggage check in at Male for flight back to Singapore, which l thought was a very nice touch…. The Staff were amazing while we were on the Island from our Butler Yasru, who took care of everything and took us Snorkeling everyday which was a highlight. And all the other Staff who are too many to name, but who did everything to make our stay pretty special. I love Pastries and Coffee but am a pretty harsh critic on both, but l have to say the Pastries are some of the best l’ve ever tasted, the Almond Croissant is too die for…. I had the pleasure of meeting the Pastry Chef , Thank You Sir ! Cappacino, 2 large every morning Yum….. So once again, Thank You Yasru and all the Staff for making our holiday extra special….. Thank you Raffles for another magical stay. We are blessed to be able to visit you after only one years time. The island is lush and beautiful and the surrounding reef even better. No matter where you go in the water there is something to see right in front of your villa; in whatever villa you are in. Even in a foot and a half of water you can just sit there and watch baby reef sharks swimming with schools of fish right in front of you. And whether you are comfortable in the water or not, your butler will accompany you on a snorkel or the resident Marine Biologist, Amadine who can spot all form of marine life during your time in the water and make you absolutely at home on the reef. Not only is the water the source of endless entertainment but the people at the resort are SO amazing, it feels like being part of a wonderful family. Everyone from housekeeping to the entire F and B team to upper management are so kind and cool and fun to hang out with; and how could it be any other way with the handsome resort manager Yoges as the face of Raffles to greet you almost daily and ensure all is fabulous. The restaurants are great, either sitting with your feet in the sand or on the over water island watching all the fish just below you while having your delicious breakfast. Also there is fantastic live music at both options, either a great cover band who takes requests and loves it when you get up and dance to a soulful sunset sax player, just take your pick. Whoever said bigger is better has never been here, this island resort really provides an awesome Maldivian experience. This resort was definitely worth the repeat visit and we look forward to our return. A true jewel in the Indian Ocean!

I am actually out of words to describe how exceptional our stay was ! We had waited over 2 years to go on honeymoon and oh my Lord it was soooo worth it ! The Raffles did not disappoint ! The hotel itself is like a dream all the facilities are amazing. We stayed in a water villa and it was beyond what we could have ever dreamed ! Just splendid !! And huge ! The bed was the biggest I had ever seen (3m !!!!!). The food was absolutely succulent and so fresh ! Divine. But I think what really did it for us on top of it all was the staff ! Oh my word the staff ! And especially our butler Koky who will always have a special place in my heart for all she did for us ! Her constant care, attention to detail, professionalism, proactiveness and kindness will stay with us forever along will the many beautiful notes she left for us in the room day after day. From the bottom of our heart thank you !!

Unforgettable vacation (second stay)

After a year, this is my second stay at the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo. Returning to the place I've been thinking about day and night, seeing familiar figures, everything is so beautiful. The hotel took extra care of me for my second visit to the island, meeting all my requirements as much as possible. They also provided me with Yasir, the butler from last year, who made me feel particularly good when I met old friends. Yasir's service was still excellent, and they made a reasonable plan for my entire trip. I would like to give special praise to two other employees, one is Liz, a Chinese waiter at Yuzu restaurant, who can communicate and introduce dishes in Chinese. This familiar feeling is great. The other one is AKSAM who works at the water villa, and his service is very enthusiastic, which makes me feel great respect. And the staff at Watersports have demonstrated a high level of professionalism in projects such as motorboats, deep diving, and sea going. I sincerely thank all the staff of the hotel for providing me with perfect protection during my vacation and leaving wonderful memories in my life. Me and my mom went to raffles Maldives for a casual vacation. We enjoyed both beach house and water house. We like them both, as the villas are so big and well equipped. Our butler Nattu is the star. He made all the arrangements for us from arrival until departure. Always giving recommendations and asking about us always. He really takes very good care of us. If i get the chance to come again will definitely choose raffles blindly.
