I feel the lady who checked us in on Thursday 25th was biased and racist in her attitude. Booked the hotel because it had a safe and parking was available. No where was it written you needed to pre book parking as I assumed like other hotels it was a first come first serve basis. We got into the parking and were asked to remove our car within 10 minutes as we didn’t pre book. We had driven 6 hours and barely had enough time to get our luggage out as the elevator was slow in going up. Didn’t want to be pulling suitcases along the streets for a check in that would have been easier if we were informed of this. Booked a few weeks ahead of time so could have easily done this. Was put in a room ( room 203) where nothing worked and I am sure this is because it asked what country of birth we were. Safe didn’t work, phone didn’t work and bathroom door didn’t shut. We were in a room with kids who were old enough to be aware and couldn’t have a shower with door shut. We had to put a wedge with a slippers on. Also had to keep going downstairs to ask simple basic questions and phone was broke and there was no information booklet in our room. I usually like staying in Novotel but this has made me question my automatically booking a Novotel. Will look round next time as the experience almost ruined my stay. No apologies about things that were wrong and she simply had very poor customer service. The morning staff on Friday 25th were a lot nicer, hence the 2 points. Would have been zero or 1. Wouldn’t stay there again no matter how close it is. Poor discriminatory behaviour. She needs to be retrained.

First of all, we would like to apology for the maintenances issues you had in our hotel during your stay. We will do the necessary to have the phone and the safe repaired. However, I would like to raise two points. The first points is our car park. I confirm that it is indicated on all our websites that our car park has to be reserved. As you may have noticed, our underground car park is not composed with enough space to accommodate all our guests. This is why we recommend on all our website to book it in advance. Secondly, we cannot tolerate the accusation of racism that you show towards our staff. We welcome guests from all over the world during the year and we extend the same welcome to all of our guest. Then we must wait for the same attitude from them. We hope your understand. Once again we do apologize for the maintenance issues and we will be more than happy to welcome you back in the future. Good value for the price. Breakfast included. Very good food, selection of meats and cheese. Freshly pressed juice. Nice and clean, though carpet in room. A littled weared down some places. Gym has 4 apperals and some light weights. Pool was at least 30 degrees. Parking slots was the most spacious we have had on our vacation, could probably fit a Hummer. Walking distance to lots of resturants. Recommend a stay

Very nice trip at Nancy. The Novotel's rooms are perfect : wide and clean. The bathroom is huge and functional The breakfast is top :-) Our children loved it! We will come back without hesitation for a future stay

We stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights. The Novotel Suits is a pleasant hotel, with very professional and helpful staff. The location is convenient as it is close to the city centre. Rooms are spacious, however, this hotel is NOT a 4-star hotel. A long way to go to be a 4-star!
