Was perfekt for us with a quick visit to old town and a good night sleep before leaving early. Just wish that they could schedule breakfast sessions so that we could have had a quick breakfast… one person eating in a room for 20 at our time of leaving…

maybe I'm too ,old, but this hotel did not fulfill my needs. dirty toilette, very simple rooms, very basic breakfast, no soap or shower gel provided. Although it was very cheap, but pricing is not everything.

Check-in machine was malfunctioning at night, so it was not possible to get in. In addition worst ever customer service.

When arriving at the hotel late night, I tried to check-in using the check-in machine in the hall, but the touch screen didn't work at all. We noticed that there was an emergency button in the same hall, and twice tried to contact someone through it with no better success. After that we were looking all around the hall for any phone numbers to call for support, but there was none. Next we tried to give calls to the phone number that was given on the reservation confirmation email, but the line was closed and our calls didn't go through. Lacking any other options, we left the hotel and drove around Lübeck and tried to find another hotel to stay at. Finally, we managed to find Ibis City hotel and asked the receptionist for help. We asked him to call to the Ibis Budget. He said that he wasn’t able to help at all, as he does not know any channels to contact the hotel, as his hotel only shared the name “Ibis” with Ibis budget. Luckily Ibis City had a room available, but we were of course charged 98 eur to stay there. Next morning, we went to the Ibis Budget Luebeck City Sued to discuss the matter. The receptionist promised to make sure that my credit card will not be charged. Unfortunately this did not work either, as there is a deduction made from my card. As a result, I have now paid for two rooms for the same night. Ibis (Accorhotels) customer service replied after six weeks and declined refund. After that they haven't responded anything in two months.

For a short stay 1 a perfect place to be ! The room was clean and had all the necessary items. The breakfast was good and nothing more could be expected. Certainly a place where to return when travelling in the area.

Being a budget hotel, I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was small, but clean. The location was fine if you have a car to drive to the city center. The check in process was automated, although there is a front desk. I think it’s for when a front desk employee steps away. My favorite thing was that the room had AC as we arrived on a very hot day.
