Super staff, especially the entertainment staff (CJ is VIP), good food, clean( very important for my family). All in all it was pleasant time here!

We stayed at Mercure Hurghada and were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel has a large, well-maintained and green territory, with everything thoughtfully designed for a comfortable holiday. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, and housekeeping is done daily and to a high standard. The food was pleasantly diverse: there was always a good selection of meat and fish dishes, fresh vegetables, fruits, and delicious desserts. Special mention goes to the breakfasts — filling and varied. The staff in the restaurants and bars are polite, attentive, and always ready to help. The hotel beach is excellent: wide, clean, with a gentle entrance into the sea. There are coral reefs, so you can enjoy snorkeling right by the shore. There are plenty of sun loungers, and it’s always easy to find a free one. The sea is clean and warm. The animation is unobtrusive but enjoyable, with daytime activities, evening shows, and live music. The hotel is perfect both for a relaxing holiday and for families with children. Overall, Mercure Hurghada is a great combination of comfort, good service, and beautiful sea. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel for a holiday in Hurghada!

Perfect hotel to relax and chill

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel - one night prior to and 6 nights following a Nile cruise. It has a perfect beachfront location with plentiful sun beds on the beach and around both pools- the main and a quieter relaxed pool. Food was good. The breakfasts were outstanding with so much variety. Italian restaurant was excellentctoo.Other guests were clearly looking to relax and chill too. It didn't gave the heavy all inclusive drinking culture which can be off putting in resorts. There were very few English guests when we stayed but English was the main international language spoken and posed no problem. The hotel is starting a refurb which will only add to the hotel. Rooms were slightly dated and it is in need of a freshen up but “the bones “ of the resort are good so doesn't really detract. Our sea view room was just that. Housekeeping was thorough with room cleaned every day. The animation team worked really hard but there is no pressure at all to join in. What makes this hotel stand out are the staff. From reception to gardeners, cleaners and waiters. Special shout out to Emad who is an outstanding waiter and sees what you need before you do.

Arrived here after a ten day tour of Egypt, ready for a couple of days relaxing before we went back to the UK. Lovely beach, pools, and excellent food. Beautiful grounds. The whole staff team was so friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely stay.
